FOR one American student, the huge marble vulva at Germany’s University Institute of Microbiology was an invitation not to be passed up.
He climbed inside. And, naturally, he got stuck. It took 22 firefighters to perform the C-section:
The 13-year-old $173,000 statue, designed by Peruvian artist Fernando de la Jara, was said to be recovering well. The name, “Pi-Chacan,” means “making love” in a Peruvian Indian dialect.
