Oh. A Superhero Film Written by Arctic Monkeys and Miles Kane
HERE’S a thing.
Arctic Monkeys frontdude Alex Turner, and Rascals pal Miles Kane, have stopped work on their Last Shadow Puppets careers to concentrate on… wait for it… a superhero film.
This is a joke, right?
The pair have been doing other stuff since they scored a number one album with the 2008 LP, ‘The Age of the Understatement’. Now, they’re teaming up again and fans will just have to wait if they want more Last Shadow Puppets action; because they are now working on a screenplay together.

When Kane was asked when the duo will release new material, he said: “It’s something we always talk about y’know? But I think we’re gonna write this film first anyway before we hit back into that.”
“It’s gonna have a sort of X-Men kind of vibe and sort of set in the ’60s, but I can’t give anymore away than that.”
This is obviously a joke, right?
Kane added that he and Turner won’t be taking the centre stage in this super story. “We’re not planning to be [in the film] but we may have a little cameo.”
This is a joke. This has to be a joke. RIGHT? RIGHT?
