QPR Balls: Harry Redknapp Has More Shots Than His Team
HOW tabloid reporting works: QPR mangaer Harry Redknapp wrties for the Sun. It says on October 6:
“Harry in quit threat: Harry Redknapp is refusing to sign a new QPR deal and may quit football at the end of the season. SunSport can reveal the Hoops boss told chairman Tony Fernandes three weeks ago that his future depends upon staying up”
If QPR are relegated, Redknapp will have managed that move twice at QPR.
Still, Redknapp is in contol of his own destinary at Loftus Road.
Or as the Mirror puts it on October 6:
Queens Park Rangers have shelved a new contract for Harry Redknapp after the club’s poor start to the season.
Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes said publicly last month Redknapp was set to sign a new deal to keep him at Loftus Road.
But Mirror Sport understands that is no longer on the agenda with the west Londoners rooted to the bottom of the Premier League.
