I’m A Celebrity: Michael Buerk Changes His Name To ‘Feed The Playboy Bunny’
THIRTY years ago, Michael Buerk brought the pain of millions of starving Ethiopians to British screens. His BBC report in 1984 sparked Bob Geldof to create Live Aid.
Buerk said the broadcast was one of “the most influential pieces of television ever broadcast [prompting] a surge of generosity across the world for Ethiopia[that raised] more than $130 million”.
Now in 2014, Geldof has called upon the likes of Chris Martin of Coldplay, Foals and Ed Sheeran to feature on a new Band Aid 30 charity single, marking the 30th anniversary of the original Band Aid’s Do They Know It’s Christmas?.
At the same time, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here contestant Michael Buerke has been renamed ‘MICHEAL’ by the Daily Star as he readies to choke down eat a kangaroo’s anus to feed the likes to Vicki Michelle, Craig Charles and former Playboy stunner Kendra Wilkinson.
Who needs a band and T-shirts to help the starving?
