London House Comes With A Large Living Tree In The Bedroom
One tenant living the dream of London life shared their home with a tree.
Lambeth Council released these pictures of a home in Clapham, south London.
The three-bedroom terraced propert had been altered withhout permission into a rental home with eight rooms, one toilet and original timber shelving.
The council repossessed the property last week.
Councillor Matthew Bennett says:
“The conditions in this illegal [house] were living in were truly appalling, and represented a genuine danger to life and limb [boom-boom]. It is shocking that someone can make money exploiting people by illegally renting out such dangerous accommodation with no regard for the safety of the people living there.”
