Arsenal are ready to begin talks with Borussia Dortmund over a £63m deal to sign 24-year-old midfielder Ilkay Gundogan and centre-back Mats Hummels, 26.
That sounds like a lot of money. But it must be true becasue rhe Independent has the same story:

The Metro reports that Arsenal have bid £15.6million for Gundogan. That means Arsenal are prepared to spend £47.4 m on Mats Hummels. Wow!
They should get him for that. Because the Mirror says Humels to Manchester United for £35m.
And there was the Daily Express, which reported:
ARSENAL are preparing to launch a £32million bid for Borussia Dortmund star and Manchester United target Mats Hummels.
So. That £63m bid, about that?
Well, it was first reported in the Daily Star., which makes no mention of the £63m in its story.
Such are the facts…
