Transfer Balls: Arsenal sign Schneiderlin who wants to play for Manchester United
Transfer Balls: Can it be true? Have Arsenal signed Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin?
The Metro says they have:
Arsenal agree transfer deal for Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin
So. Schneiderlin will save Arsenal. But wait a moment. The Mirror has news:
Southampton dealt Morgan Schneiderlin injury blow with in-form midfielder out until February
And:
The 25-year-old missed the win over Ipswich in the FA Cup on Wednesday and now looks even less likely to leave St Mary’s this month
But the Metro and the Star says he’s already gone:
ARSENAL have agreed a £25m deal to sign Liverpool and Manchester United target Morgan Schneiderlin from Southampton.
What facts?
Arsenal have struck a £25m deal with Southampton to sign France international Morgan Schneiderlin. That’s according to the Secret Footballer, who claims the Gunners have beaten Liverpool and United to an agreement for the 25-year-old.
But just two days ago the Express told readers:
MANCHESTER UNITED’S hopes of signing Southampton star Morgan Schneiderlin have been dealt a significant boost after the midfielder hinted he would be open to an Old Trafford switch.
The Metro and Star cannot be wrong. So Schneiderlin is a Gunner. And the fee is £25m.
But the Telegraph says today:
Arsene Wenger admits it’s finally time to shell out, and will spend £20 million this window
But he’s spent more.
What says this Secret Footballer?
So. Not now. But in the summner. Why announce it now? What would Southampton players make of it? What if the Saints play Arsenal?
Is the Secret Footballer right?
Maybe in the summer…
