More TV repeats: Vernon Kaye and Rhian Sugden sexting ‘shame’
Vernon Kaye is the bland, too-tall presenter of bland TV shows. He’s in the news. OK! magazine says:

But the Mirror says it’s all the other way around. And everything we know about Rhian can be distilled into two bullet points, literally.

How do we know Mrs Vernon isn’t all for the texting?
Friends said Tess, who is 47 today, was likely to be “shattered” by her husband’s latest indiscretions with Rhian Sugden, 29. A source said: “He knows he’s been playing with fire and God only knows what poor Tess will make of this. “Vernon broke her heart six years ago and now he’s back in touch with the same girl. He must be mad.”
TV is all about repeats. Back then the Mail told us:
Kay, 35, had confessed to sending racy messages to 23-year-old glamour model Rhian Sugden, but was then embarrassed when another four girls came forward to say he had also been ‘sexting’ them as well. Friends broke the news of Kay’s indiscretions to Miss Daly late on Tuesday night, and a source at ITV, with whom Kay has a £2million golden handcuffs deal, told the Mail: ‘Tess is absolutely shattered. At first she thought she could cope with just one girl, but then when the floodgates opened, she was devastated…she said “the trust is gone” and I think it will take a while to regain that trust in the marriage.’
Now an unnamed source tells Sun readers:
“She [Rhian] wasn’t sure quite what his game was but she was prepared to meet him because she feels he left her high and dry six years ago and she wanted some answers from him. It takes two to tango but it was Vernon who came up with some specific dates when he could sneak away from Tess to meet Rhian in a hotel. Rhian’s not above blame because she is due to get married next year.”
But let’s not be too harsh on Rhian. Surely many TV executives can empathise with her alleged predicament. As Ally Ross noted in the Sun:
If they can’t get Jonathan Ross they get Graham Norton
If they can’t get Norton they get anybody else.
If they can’t get anybody else they get Vernon Kaye.
