In Boris Johnson’s 2014 book on Winston Churchill, the Brexit campaign leader talks of the “spectacular success” of Churchill’s idea of ‘EC, now EU in delivering “peace & prosperity”.
Whoopsie! As Churchill would have said.
Johnson’s a tad slippery, no?
