Playground equipment never looked better – it’s often looked must worse, often deadly. Kito Fujio’s photographs of playground equipment in his native Japan are seductive, spooky, sinister and a little bit magic. Animal-themed slides, monumental gaping mouths, an emergency-landing airplane chute and a volcano to clamber up and possibly into are all weird and wonderful.
