A Head For Ice – Lisa Scott Lee Dances Again
LISA Scott-Lee and Johnny Shentall are in Hello! to “talk about life in the spotlight”.
Showing no obvious sign of disappointment at missing out on the top spot in the country’s premier pro-celebrity ice dance show, Dancing on Ice, Lisa is wearing a red halter-neck dress.
Hello! notes that Lisa strived for success, risking much, not least of all on the headbanger manoeuvre. “It’s actually called the float spin,” correct Lisa. “But it was named the headbanger because last year poor Bonnie Langford smashed her head while attempting the same move.”
Lisa executed the move with no hint of headbang. But she still found herself in the show’s bottom two, forced into a head-to-head with former boyband member Duncan James.
Reality TV can be a cruel mistress and though Lisa performed top her utmost, she was unable to surpass James.
Now back in the arms of her husband Johnny, Lisa is free to speak about dancing, ice and her six-bedroom Berkshire home.
“People have stopped me in the street and told me I shouldn’t have left, so it’s been a nice reaction from the public,” says Lisa.
But the fans can catch Lisa when she dances again on the Dancing on Ice tour. “It will be nice to skate again without having to worry about the judges comments,” says Lisa.
