Australia Fire: Warmists, Jihadists, Terrorists, Arsonist, Religionists And Opportunists
FIRES rage in Australia. Lives are lost.
The fire up close.
The greens are saying that in fire season fires will happen. Prescient stuff. This in the Guardian from Tim Flannery:
Rudd has said that the arsonists suspected of lighting some fires are guilty of mass murder, and the police are busy chasing down these malefactors. But there’s an old saying among Australian fire fighters — “whoever owns the fuel, owns the fire”. Let’s hope that Australians ponder the deeper causes of this horrible tragedy, and change our polluting ways before it’s too late.
Arrest warrants at Swan Vesta and Zippo lighters. No, let’s go higher, people. The buck stops somewhere, so let’s get the head of the company that pumped the gas for the lighters. And what about the man who put the gas in the lighters? Get him too.
This a comment on Australia’s fires in the Times:
I’m an American climate activist. My heart goes out to all suffering this devastation. I also appeal to you to tell your stories, in blogs or wherever you can; we need your voices to help get climate change laws and treaties passed. Americans don’t understand the harsh reality of GW coming to us all

The greens can prevent the fires. Or cause them. One allegation is that greens campaigned to make vast areas of forests ‘off limits’ to fire control experts, stopping them from interfering with nature’s fine balance by thinning out forest areas that posed a danger to small communities. When an indigenous tribe clears a jungle area humanity is the guardian of forest; when a company or Government does it, humanity is meddling.
Time for questions in the House:
Question time in the House of Representatives and the Senate has been suspended for the rest of the week in recognition of the Victorian bushfires.
Both the government and the opposition agreed to a motion to suspend question time.
The decision was not met without some rancour.
Australian Greens leader Bob Brown argued question time was “all the more relevant” during national emergencies.
I’d like to ask the Greens..:
Sections of the media, above all the Murdoch press, have alleged that the inadequate controlled burning program was due to the influence of inner-city Green “latte conservationists” who are supposedly more interested in saving trees than people and property.
Trees are people too:
In Strathewen, a town ravaged by the fires, resident John Murphy was more terse.
‘I was told by the Greenies that I mustn’t touch this twig or that stick because a mouse might want to live under it,’ he said. ‘Well to hell with the mice. People are dead – and so’s the mouse.’
That quote is in the DaIly Mail, which fails to share the Guardian’s green agenda. Although if you must pick up a roast mouse, place it in your pocket and not in a plastic bag. After blaming the greens, the Mail delivers this gem:
Terrorism experts suspect Muslim extremists are watching the impact of the bushfires devastating Australia closely, it has emerged.
It’s Tabloid Bingo. If one of the alleged arsonist (it’s not all arson) has a history of child abuse, the Mail will go into spasms of delight.
Like jihadis, the arsonists are “likely to be young and male”.
It’s hot:
One turtle’s shell melted and fused to its body, while a baby wallaby’s ears were fried to a crisp. Kangaroos seared their feet, and birds scorched by Australia’s worst-ever wildfires plummeted from the sky.
It’s Biblical:
Mr Nalliah said. “In my dream I saw fire everywhere, with flames burning very high and uncontrollably. With this I woke up from my dream with the interpretation as the following words came to me in a flash from the spirit of God. That his conditional protection has been removed from the nation of Australia, in particular Victoria, for approving the slaughter of innocent children in the womb. “Can we stop the fires? Yes we can! But it will take God’s children to rally together and repent and cry unto him as in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (The Holy Bible).”
Lives are being lost. Lives ruined. And anyone with a vested interest is cashing in…
