Chinese Bus Passengers Issued With Yellow Bricks
ABOARD a bus of China’s Harbin Public Transport Company, passengers are carrying a yellow brick.
The bricks bear the legend “emergency use” written on both sides. Says a spokesman:
“It’s easy for passengers to spot them, and use them to break the window if something happened.”
Like them being hit on the head by a brick.
The company had issued little hammers but the passengers kept stealing them. Adds the spokesman:
“We don’t think anybody will be interested in stealing bricks.”
Course not…
