AN Anorak writer is in Spain. The conversation turns to if the children can be left in the family apartment – in a secure development with guards; the youngest child is 7. And who should pop into the conversation but Our Maddie:
Brother: Leave the kids in the apartment
Sister: Can’t do that.
Brother: Why the **** not?
Sister: Haven’t you heard what happened to Madeleine McCann.
Brother: No. What happened?
