For Sale: Drowned Bugatti Brescia Rescued From Swiss Lake
SIGNS that the Government’s scrappage scheme are working as a1925 open-top Type 22 Bugatti Brescia that remained submerged in a Swiss lake for 73 years is expected to sell for £85,000 at a Paris auction.
The story goes that car ended up 49 meters below the waves when in 1936 its then owner Max Schmuklerski took exception to being asked to pay taxes on it.
