Chinese Girl Turns Into Turtle

TIAN Yunting is inflicted with swollen blood or lymph vessels – she suffers from angiomas. Tian, you may be unsurprised to learn, hails from China. She has also been nicknamed “turtle girl”.
Says Tian, who could bleed heavily were she to sit badly at the doctor’s or be pricked:
“Even when I got there I couldn’t sit down because the hard chairs might burst me.”
It’s pretty hideous. But we wonder if such ailments are exclusive to China – or if the Chinese are more keen than most to share them with us?
