In Pictures: Cheryl Cole’s Ring News Cycle
IN recent days, Cheryl Cole has been showing her hands to the camera. One day she has a wedding ring. One day she has no ring at all. Right now, her wedding ring finger is wearing a skull ring as she passes by the paparazzi. On stage, she wears no ring.
What can it all mean? What can Cheryl be trying to tell us? Did she marry Ashley just to keep her fetish for putting rings on her ring finger?
Cheryl has ten digits to put rings on. But Cheryl says on Twitter – the Twitter page of her, er, PR company:
“I just wanted to clear up the stories about whether I am wearing my wedding ring in my own words as this has been going on for too long and is getting boring. It is not some silly game I am playing. That is not me and not my style.”
This from the woman with her husband’s name tattooed on the back of her neck. As Cheryl Cole says, it’s a “heavy burden” being a role model.
There have been many occasions where I have not worn my wedding ring, many of those when I was pictured with Ashley. I find it crazy that people would think I use this as some sort of msg. Believe it or not Ashley is fully aware of any situation going on in our personal lives. He does not need to see a picture of me moving the hair out of my face to explain anything. Please drop it.”
Or why not wear a ring on different finger? Or through your lips? Because this is Cheryl Cole who took her ring off when Ashley was accused of cheating on her with Aimee Walton, and who opined:
“I was tempted to put it back on – in his head.”
So, you see, how she has no idea that her ring will attract any attention. As the X Factor judge told us:
The judge, 26, who spent yesterday with the injured Chelsea footballer, 28, said she ditched the £160,000 sparkler as it clashed with her outfits on Saturday and Sunday’s shows.
And this is Chezza who posted a picture of her wearing her £160,000 ring and holding it in front of her face with the accompanying message: “3 words. Diamonds Are Forever.”
Oh, Cheryl, why do they stare?
