Whole Rat Found In Tin Of Baked Beans
YOU can now get baked beans with added rat. Cheap protein is making us healthy.
The rat is thought to have climbed into a tin at the baked beans factory and been entombed.
Heinz says it wasn’t them. Premier Foods, owners of the Branston and HP brands, says: “We have no record of any such case or investigation.”
A health expert tells us:
“The rat had come to an untimely end, but was not possible to say if it had died before or after it got into the beans. But enzymatic tests established that it had been through the canning process. A post mortem examination showed that it hadn’t eaten recently – it had not enjoyed a last meal of baked beans.”
Would anyone enjoy them now?
Question: what makes the brown sauce brown?
