The Family Murdered Rose Ron – Israel’s Madeleine McCann
BACK when every country had an Our Maddie, we brought you news of Rose Ron, the Israeli girl who had vanished. Who dunnit? Well, it was her grandpa, Ronny Ron. He was shagging his daughter-in-law, Marie-Charlotte Renault-Pizem.
Ronny Ron killed Rose Ron. He stuffed her body into a suitcase and tossed the lot into Tel Aviv’s Yarkon river. That was 2008.
Renault-Pizem, 26, has been convicted of plotting her daughter’s murder. In 2005, she divorced Benjamin Ron, when he found out she was shagging his dad.
It is all very hidous and darly fascinating, we’re sure. But the Metro equips the story with a headline that will not please the McCanns who are not suspects in their daughter’s disappearance and believe she is alive:

On a more positive note for the McCanns, Kate McCann is back on the cover of the Daily Express. She’s illustrating not Missing Children’s Day, rather the fact that when Madeleine went misisng she “felt out of control”…. Full round-up of that here.
