Sweet Angelic Ronan Peake Led an Innocent Childhood in Norwich, Far Away From Simon Cowell
Simon Cowell has called in the police to get heavy with the anonymous blogger who suggested Simon Cowell had been grooming British Bieber-alike Ronan Parke for Britain’s Got Talent stardom.
When the fix-up scandal broke, Cowell’s company Syco denied the allegations and got the blog post removed from the internet – now Cowell feels it’s time to get tougher and wants to get the unlucky blogger into a lawcourt. Sweet 12 year-old crooner Ronan went on ITV yesterday to clear his name saying that he’d never met Simon Cowell before in his life (apart from a couple of weeks before in the BGT semi-finals). He told of his innocent young life in Norwich, going to £15 singing lessons and buying his own clothes. Well, his family bought his clothes. But the point is that the music label didn’t. He said:
“I haven’t been coached by anyone to do with Simon. I’ve never met Simon in my life. I’d love to but I never have. I’ve been coached by the same teacher in Norwich that we pay for and no-one’s paid for our clothes or anything. It’s really silly.”
The blogger claimed to be a senior exec at Simon’s record company Syco, which has approximately 40 employees.
The claims in the blog now described as false and malicious stated that Simon had met Ronan two years before when Ronan sang at a Christmas party and had been coaching him up since, before setting him up to win in this year’s Britain’s Got Talent.
The Mirror explains that the blogger suffered from bipolar disorder and that he had posted a second blog post retracting everything. He said:
“I am ashamed to admit to being the perpetrator of the recent Britain’s Got Talent ‘fix’ crisis. I would like to offer my sincerest and unreserved apologies for all the distress and hurt I’ve caused, in particular to Ronan.”
Everyone else is reminded to never cross Simon Cowell.
