The cynical Sun owns the missing and the dead with its wanted posters
THE Sun loves to grandstand when a crime against a woman or a child hits the news cycle. The tabloid that cares slaps its logo above their heads. It wants ownership of the story. To some it is cynical. To others it is something that might help. But there was no signs that the Sun’s patronage does anything to help the missing or the killed. It just looks like the worst kind of free advertising:
Jo Yeates
Madeleine McCann
Nisha Patel
Rhys Jones
Peter Connelly (Baby P) – the Sun made him a headstone
April Jones
Tia Sharp
