Sheffield United Should Pick Ched Evans Over Jessica Ennis
CHED Evans might not be scaring off Sheffield United fans but their celebrity patrons are running. Evans, a convicted rapist, is out of prison and training with his former Sheffield United teamates. No United player has complained, at least not publicly.
But three club patrons have resigned, one of United’s sponsors has said it will end its association with the club if they re-sign Evans and Olymic champion Jessica Ennis-Hill wants her name to be removed from a stand named after her if the club offers convicted rapist Ched Evans a contract.
Yesh, that’s what we thought. Why is there is a Jessica Ennis stand at a football gound? She’s never played for them. But in 2012, with the London Olympics high on the news cycle, Sheffield Untetd renamed the Bramall Lane Stand after Jessica Ennis.
Big fan is she?

Are Sheffield United so short of stars they need to borrow one from a different sport?
The Sun (see above) says Sheffield United must pick Ched Evans or Jessica Ennis. Well, we’d go for Ched. He’s a lot better than she is with a football….
