Madeleine McCann, the Yorkshire Ripper and date night with Jimmy Savile cops
News on the hunt for Madeleine McCann has been thin. But today the Sun has a story:
Ripper’s vile Maddie slur – EXCLUSIVE: Serial killer casts doubt on McCanns in Broadmoor letter
The Sun has news of Peter Sutcliffe, the so-called Yorkshire Ripper.
YORKSHIRE Ripper Peter Sutcliffe sickeningly casts doubt on the innocence of Madeleine McCann’s parents in a sensational letter revealed today by The Sun.
Mass murderer and woman hates thinks… It’s not the most auspicious start to a scoop, is it? Why should we care what the killer thinks?
In the note — one of a series he sent from Broadmoor — he tells a pen pal “there’s something not quite right” about three-year-old Madeleine’s disappearance during a 2007 family holiday in Portugal.
No sh*t, Sherlock. Child vanishes. It’s a single thread story that’s been spun and spun.
The bloated psychopath, 69, then alludes to spurious theories which circulated at the time, falsely incriminating mum Kate and dad Gerry.
The media has been full of spurious theories ever since the child went missing.
Sutcliffe, who killed 13 women and tried to kill seven more from 1975 to 1980, writes: “As for the Madeleine McCann case? For quite a while I had every sympathy for the parents at their terrible loss.”
That will come as a relief and comfort to Kate and Gerry McCann, we’re sure. Maybe Dennis Nilsen and Rose West can lend their support?
“But there’s something not quite right about it all, the latest thing is that the police say . . .” (the rest of this sentence cannot be published for legal reasons). He adds: “A lot of people seem to have the idea that the poor wee lass . . .” (again, The Sun cannot print the rest of this sentence).
You can see read books about what the demented Sutcliffe did to women. But the letter he wrote stating his views on a news story is taboo.
Sutcliffe’s slurs sparked fears he has twisted the minds of the vulnerable young women he is writing to. The McCanns did not respond to a request for comment last night.
The women-hating killer might have twisted the minds of women who think he’s their pal? Wow. Just wow.
THE Yorkshire Ripper has sent hundreds of creepy letters to female admirers and told how he dreams of going on dates with them.
Examples given are:
One letter he sent to a woman who visited him, starts: “Hi sweetie pie”, and adds in text speak “You looked gr8 in that outfit”.
In another of the notes, all written in the past decade, the serial killer chillingly tells a female fan he feels “very protective” of her.
And he informs a different admirer: “I’m thinking of you 24/7.”
Lovely stuff. Good to see that although letter writing is not fashionable among the youth the criminally insane are keeping alive the flame of analogue correspondence.
But is it really him?
He sent a Valentine card to one pen pal saying “I love you” and signed off with a question mark.
How do we know if it was Sutcliffe? Is he now a symbol, a macabre take on Batman’s The Riddler?
But his identity would have been given away by a stamp marked “Broadmoor postal monitors”.
Sure it wasn’t from Broadmoor’s pal Jimmy Savile?
Sutcliffe, 69, also claims that ex-wife Sonia still comes to see him, tells how a female fan was banned from visiting for wearing skimpy outfits and boasts of his friendship with paedophile DJ Jimmy Savile.
There you go. After all it was the Sun that told us:
WARPED Jimmy Savile has been sensationally linked to the Yorkshire Ripper serial slayings, The Sun can reveal…
“The coincidences between predatory paedophile Savile and serial killer Sutcliffe seem to be mounting daily.”
And now for some facts. Sutcliffe, who killed 13 women and attempted to kill seven more “has a large group of friends, mostly women, who write to him and speak to him on the phone”.
What else do these police officers investigating Savile and other crimes ‘women’ do?
They have sent him gifts including money, Cool Water aftershave, face wash, trainers, DVDs, CDs…
Okay… okay…
…and a Jeremy Clarkson book.
Hang him! Hang him now!
Meanwhile, we’re left to wonder what this has to do with Madeleine McCann other than the Sun’s attempts to make a story out of nothing? Clue: nothing.
Update: Madeleine McCann is missing. There are no suspects. Peter Sutcliffe has an alibi.
