Album review: The See See – Late Morning Light
Like a bit of The Byrds? Tap your toes to Teenage Fanclub? Well you’ll love The See See, a London based band whose debut album is available through Spotify, Amazon etc this week. The See See major on jangly guitars, rich harmonies and psychedelic twists but give them a very contemporary edge. Sometimes they do sound a little familiar, but their really strong songwriting and clever musicianship shine through.
Stand out tracks include Keep Your Head – which sounds a little like early Stone Roses, the very psychy It’s True and The Monkees country-esque twang of Half A Man.

SO. Jason Sudeikis, what’s it really like to suck on Zac Efron’s foot?
“Truth be told, I hadn’t done that in any of the rehearsals. I just did it on the air to screw with him. The scene is basically about an older brother teaching his younger brother how to get girls. Zac’s a nice guy, we got along really well, and he really enjoyed that scene. There was so much good energy by the time we did it for the show, I thought, I’m just going to try it and make him fight me, but I was able to overpower him and stick half his foot in my mouth. I figured if anyone in the world has a clean foot, it’s got to be Zac Efron.
[It tasted like] Just any old foot. That’s one of the nice things about life: It doesn’t matter how good-looking you are or how well your career’s going, all our feet taste the same.” –

Kerry Katona’s Disingenuous Sex Life: Week 3
WEEK three of OK!’s serialisation of Kerry Katona’s sex life.
Having already been “smitten” with Kevin Greene and Dan Whiston, and fancied Jeff Brazier, the queen of own-brand ketchups is the subject of the cover story:
“KERRY LOVES DAN – ‘We’re madly in Love & I’m Pregnant’”
On Page 76:
“KERRY KATONA AND HER ‘DANCING ON ICE’ PARTNER DAN WHISTON GIVE US THE LOWDOWN ON THEIR RELATIONSHIP”
Well, having already been told they are “madly in love” and that Kerry is pregnant, we pretty much know what to expect.
On page 76, we see Kerry cupping Dan’s grinning, powdered face and puckering up to kiss him.
On page 77, OK! tells us that Dan is Kerry’s “current squeeze”.

KIM Karsdashian has lived the nightmare. Sat watching Prince perform in New York, she is called up on stage. The pop royal commands her to dance. One boom from her mighty hips and Prince is in the cheap seats. But she does not dance. She is immobile. Sure, her inner backside is vibrating to the throbbing bass, but the rest of her is less mobile and rhythmic that Joan Rivers’ forehead.

Amanda Knox Dry Heaves Watching Hayden Pantierre In Film Trailer
HAYDEN Panettiere is the woman starring in a made-for-TV film as Amanda Knox, the convicted killer who protests her innocent in the murder of Meredith Kercher. Knox is blonde, white and appealing in Perugia, a picturesque part of Italy. The film is called Amanda Knox: Murder On Trial In Italy, a title that suggests that Italy is as much to blame as Knox.
Here’s Pantierre, whose reading of a script gives her a valuable insight into the murder of an innocent British woman:
“I believe in the person that she deep down was. And I think that no matter, regardless of innocent or guilty, I believe she was a… she has a spirit. You know she’s a real person. She was a young girl who had dreams and aspirations and was going to Italy to go to school and to broaden her horizons and have experiences and meet new people. And I don’t think that guilty or innocent takes away from that.”

Gisele Bunchen’s Midnight Sunbathing
GIESLE Bunchen steps out of her blue lagoon to tell us that sun creams are bad for you. Gisele only exposes her skin to the sun before 8am.
Gisele claims she refuses to use the product because of all the chemicals they contain to absorb UVA and UVB light.
“I cannot put this poison on my skin,’ the 30-year-old said. ‘I do not use anything synthetic.”
As a compromise, Bundchen claims she only exposes herself to the sun before 8am when it is still too weak to do any damage.

RIP Gary Moore, once of Skid Row and Thin Lizzy, who has died in Spain. He was 58. In 1969, Moore left Belfast to join Skid Row and Phil Lynott in Dublin. He was just 16.

Kerry Katona Marries Her Marine: More Disingenuous Tabloid News
KERRY Katona is to marry dad-of-three Kevin Green, 32. Well, so says the Star, which learns of the news from an unnamed source. The paper has caught up with Katona, who only recently told us:
“There was a story in the papers saying there’s something going on with me and my old personal trainer Kevin Greene, but we’re just friends!”
The Star says she is “smitten” with her friend Greene (as she is with Dan Whiston). Kerry says she’s never slept with him:
“People are saying that I am but I’m not. I actually wish I was, though. I certainly wouldn’t say no.”

Vanessa Feltz Is Gargantuan In OK!
WHEN Nikki Grahame first appeared on Big Brother, she drew comparisons, not all them favourable, to a boiled-washed Vanessa Feltz. Then the pair did the inevitable, as celebs in the OK! Petri dish must: they met.

RIP Maria Schneider: A ‘Little Raped’ By Marlon Brando’s Butter Balls
RIP Maria Schneider, the actor best known for her performance in Bernardo Bertolucci’s 1972 drama Last Tango in Paris. The role defined her career. She was 19 when she starred in it. (Not every actor is lucky enough to have a footnote, let alone a definition.)
Anyone who’s ever seen the film will be familiar with the butter scene. It was unrehearsed and not in the script. Said Maria Schneider:
“I should have called my agent or had my lawyer come to the set because you can’t force someone to do something that isn’t in the script, but at the time, I didn’t know that. Marlon said to me: ‘Maria, don’t worry, it’s just a movie,’ but during the scene, even though what Marlon was doing wasn’t real, I was crying real tears. I felt humiliated and to be honest, I felt a little raped, both by Marlon and by Bertolucci. After the scene, Marlon didn’t console me or apologise. Thankfully, there was just one take.”

Peter Andre Goes Loopy About Princess’s Straight Hair
PRINCESS TenaLadyMeeeeee, daughter to sentimental syrup miner Peter Andre and Katie Price, the greatest Fleet Street tabloid editor who never was, has had her hair made straight.
No longer is Princess a shoo-in for the role of a young Lucille Ball, accompany her brother Junior (Desi Arnaz) in I Love Lucy: The Early Years. Peter takes to his New magazine column to talk about this matter:

Charlie Sheen Is In Like Flynn (And Out When The Hour Is Up)
CHARLIE Sheen would like you to know that his antics are a toss back to the golden age of Hollywood, when swordsman Errol Flynn was in his pomp. Sheen is not a dissolute content factory; he’s a cultural archivists:
“I have a lot of work to do to be able to return the support I have received from so many people. I want to say ‘thank-you’ to my fellow cast members, the crew of Two and a Half Men and everyone at CBS and Warner Bros., especially Les Moonves and Bruce Rosenblum for their concern and support. CHARLIE Sheen is between prostitutes right now, so it’s left to Felony to keep the story going. Felony is the madame who claims she supplied Sheen with company. She is speaking to Radar Online. And she is all set to deliver a masterclass of irony:
Felony says she “told the high-priced escort to put Sheen’s drugs in a drawer to protect their high-profile customer”.

PETER Andre are following their “secret” date with a “secret” baby shower.
And not just any baby shower but a “star-studded” baby shower. As OK! tells us:

Pete Doherty Court Tour Adds Snaresbrook Date: Photos
IF you wait by a court long enough you a re bound to see Pete Doherty. And there he was at Thames Magistrates Court, London, up before the Beak on a charge of possessing cocaine. Police have been investigating the suspected overdose death of heiress Robin Whitehead – she spent her final days working on The Road To Albion, a documentary about Doherty and his former band The Libertines. That led them to meet Doherty and, allegedly, his drugs.
In court, Doherty pleaded not guilty. This was only a committal hearing, so those of you missed Peter should get along to his next gig at Snaresbrook Crown Court on March 29…
