Press Association: “Nurse car vandalised at Goody home”
Police have been called to the home of Jade Goody after a car belonging to a nurse caring for the terminally-ill reality TV star was damaged, apparently by vandals.
Officers said they were called shortly before 7am and told a Toyota Yaris parked outside Goody’s home in Upshire, Essex had been dented and had a window smashed.

Witnesses said the car belonged to a Marie Curie nurse who was looking after Goody.
Sify: “No room in cemetery for dying Jade Goody”
Cancer-stricken British reality TV star Jade Goody’s wish to be buried in a flower-filled churchyard near her home after her death has been dashed because of lack of space in the cemetery.
The Big Brother star had requested a plot at St John The Baptist Church in Buckhurst Hill, Essex. But it has now emerged that the graveyard is already full…
“Unfortunately St John’s is full, so she cannot be buried there. All the parties will be trying to arrange (a place) close by,” said Goody’s publicist Max Clifford.

A builder from Downend is selling his personalised “J Goody” number plates to raise money for terminally ill Jade Goody’s children.
Jason Goodfield, 22, bought the J600 DYY plates five years ago for £250 because his nickname is Goody.
Anyone else see J Goody?
He has now put them up for sale on an internet auction site with a reserve price of £10,000, and will donate half the cash to the Big Brother star’s two sons.

I know our media can be tasteless in these matters, but in America celebrity death is larded with a peculiarly disgusting hypocrisy, seen as a perfectly fair means to pursue ratings. The next morning my stomach was barely strong enough to cope with the sight of a glammed-up showbiz reporter, on one of the breakfast television shows, standing right outside Liam Neeson’s house and retailing, with a straight face, how the family wished its privacy to be respected at this “difficult” time.

THERE, amid the cod sympathy, the mawkish pitying, the sage advice from medics and anyone with a vested interest, and the tabloid sentimentality, the Telegraph wonders if Natasha Richardson’s death “adds to speculation of a ‘curse’ on Redgrave dynasty”.

WE interrupt this transmission of CCN (the web’s rolling Celebrity Cancer News channel – Jade Goody special tonite) to bring news of Natasha Richardson, the actress, who has been diagnosed by a doctor on the telly as suffering from “talk and deteriorate“, possibly.
Dr Steven Flanagan, director of Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine at New York University, tells FoxNews.com.
“I can only speculate, but… what this implies is that someone hits their head and they are seemingly OK initially. Then they get a rapid collection of blood – usually called epidural haemorrhage – and that means bleeding between the skull and the brain.”

The book, entitled “Forever in My Heart”, is described by publishers as a “modern day parable”. It will be written as a “love letter” to Goody’s two young sons, Bobby, five and Freddie, four.

“She’s done a great deal I think in many ways in helping people realise that you can prepare children for somebody dying,” said McVey.

Amy Winehouse Serenades Jade Goody
AMY Winehouse has been away. No, not collared by the Celebrity Police Service. Winehouse has been away in the Caribbean.
While you were watching Jade Goody, Winehouse returned to Blighty, to shows Brits what we’ve been missing by pleading not guilty to assaulting a dancer called Sherene Flash in central London last year.
It is rumoured that after the alleged offence, Wino did then fall to the floor performing her trademark impression of a hairdressing junior’s sweepings and screamed Blaaaaake.
Winehouse appeared at Westminster magistrates court to deny the charge. The press looks at the case of Amy Jade Civil. She pleads: not guilty.

Ron Silver Dies
ACTOR Ron Silver has died from cancer.
“Ron Silver died peacefully in his sleep with his family around him early Sunday morning,” said Robin Bronk, executive director of the Creative Coalition. “He had been fighting esophageal cancer for two years.”
Max Clifford offers no comment, although is believed to have sighed at the thought of what might have been.
