Did BBC run secret Jimmy Savile show for deviants and killers?

NOT to worry, Jimmy Savile, a character witness has stepped forward to speak up on your behalf. The court of public opinion calls…Peter Sutcliffe, aka The Yorkshire Ripper.

It’s day 2 of the Sun’s Jimmy Savile women killer exclusive, a story based on the idea that while Sutcliffe raped and murdered women in Leeds, Savile would perv at the action from his city flat windows and then, very possibly, nip out to have sex with the copses.

Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger paid the crew to shag an old fan

CHAD Kroeger, currently engaged to Avril Lavigne, has been speaking to Men’s Health about being on tour with his band Nickelback:

CK: We’ve always been very close to our crew, so we’ve had a lot of fun getting them to do silly, stupid things that could possibly cause them to hurt or injure themselves in some way. We were in Germany years ago—this was one of my favorite stories—and we were just bored. There was a heat wave going on in Germany. In a back room in the venue where we were playing, there was an old fan with a metal blade. I don’t remember the last time I saw a fan with a metal blade. And we paid the drum tech…. Oh god, I forget the exact amount. I think we got the pot up to about 600 deutschmarks. At this time Germany hadn’t converted to the Euro yet.

MH: 600 deutschmarks to do what?

CK: Stick his johnson in the fan.

MH: Please tell me he said no.

CK: He took the money.

MH: Oh sweet Moses.

CK: I can still hear the “bleh-bleh-blehhhhhhh” of the blade slowly sputtering to a stop, and this blood-curdling scream. It was fantastic. Somebody has video footage of this somewhere that needs to be resurrected and shown at the guy’s next birthday party.

Kurt Vonnegut’s letter on his son’s refusal to fight in Vietnam

KURT Vonnegut is, of course, the subject of the work Kurt Vonnegut: Letters. In one, he writes of war and killing:

November 28, 1967

To Draft Board #1,
Selective Service,
Hyannis, Mass.

Gentlemen:

My son Mark Vonnegut is registered with you. He is now in the process of requesting classification as a conscientious objector. I thoroughly approve of what he is doing. It is in keeping with the way I have raised him. All his life he has learned hatred for killing from me.

I was a volunteer in the Second World War. I was an infantry scout, saw plenty of action, was finally captured and served about six months as a prisoner of war in Germany. I have a Purple Heart. I was honorably discharged. I am entitled, it seems to me, to pass on to my son my opinion of killing. I don’t even hunt or fish any more. I have some guns which I inherited, but they are covered with rust.

This attitude toward killing is a matter between my God and me. I do not participate much in organized religion. I have read the Bible a lot. I preach, after a fashion. I write books which express my disgust for people who find it easy and reasonable to kill.

We say grace at meals, taking turns. Every member of my family has been called upon often to thank God for blessings which have been ours. What Mark is doing now is in the service of God, Whose Son was exceedingly un-warlike.

There isn’t a grain of cowardice in this. Mark is a strong, courageous young man. What he is doing requires more guts than I ever had—and more decency.

My family has been in this country for five generations now. My ancestors came here to escape the militaristic madness and tyranny of Europe, and to gain the freedom to answer the dictates of their own consciences. They and their descendents have been good citizens and proud to be Americans. Mark is proud to be an American, and, in his father’s opinion, he is being an absolutely first-rate citizen now.

He will not hate.
He will not kill.
There’s no hope in that. There’s no hope in war.

Yours truly,

Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.

Jimmy Savile: Did the ‘BBC’s Paedo’ watch The Yorkshire Ripper kill?

WAS the Yorkshire Ripper secretly running Margaret Thatcher’s Government with Jimmy Savile?

Donald Trump’s kids investigate Obama’s parentage in Africa: turns out they’re bastards

YOU might think a man with tsunami on his head would be sensitive to natural disasters. But Donald Trump is not like the rest of us. Trump is all about bits of paper. Bits of paper makes things true to Donald. He most likely has bits of paper that say “Your Hair Is Real”, “Scotland Loves You” and “You Da Man” pinned up around his house, each piece of proof printed on embossed paper and bearing the hallmarks of esteemed institutions, such as The Harvard School of Hair.

Most recently, Trump has been looking for a piece of paper that proves Barack Obama’s passport application form. If Obama shows it, Trump will donate $5m to a charity of Obama’s choosing. If he doesn’t, Trump will keep his money. Obama – shock of shock – never took up the offer.

Lady GaGa wonders why we aren’t talking about “fat” Adele

LADY GaGa wants to talk about Adele. Lady G sees Adele as the benchmark for weighty, female singers. You, like most people, might not give a gnat’s chuff for how much a singer weighs. GaGa seems preoccupied:

“I think women are just, for no reason, wretched to each other all the time, and I don’t think they use clothes or men or perfume or make-up or anything more than they use anything else. We should all make an effort to be nice to one another all the time.”

Behind the scenes on Raiders of the Lost Ark

RAIDERS of the Lost Ark is a cracking film. The first time I saw the ghosts erupt from the Ark of the Covenant, I was scared. When the Nazi’s head melts, you wasn’t disturbed? This is how they did it:? They used make-up, technology, impressive beards and wax…

Chris Brown wants to be a better person (just forget the tasteless Halloween outfit, okay?)

BELIEVE it or not, Chris Brown wants to be a better person and has admitted that he doesn’t blame the public for “hating” him over him beating the crap out of Rihanna.

Having to get personal opinion back and having to gain personal success back… it’s not all the way back, you know?” said Breezy. “But it’s one of my most humbling experiences. I can’t hate people for making judgement on me or making a decision of liking me or not liking me. All I can do is try to be better as a person, and I’m good with knowing everything isn’t always going to be perfect.”

“The fan base that I have and the actual support is unreal to me. They’ve put me in a position to be able to help people and continue to do music and help my family, help my mom… I just want my fans to be able to identify, whether it be the ones that maybe could of had everything or they maybe blew their chance and they failed and didn’t know how to get back up.”

BBC Radio 1 controller Johnny Beerling forgets to remember the Jimmy Savile he ‘knew well’

JOHN ‘Johnny’ Beerling was the BBC Radio 1 Controller. He has been talking with Nicky Campbell, the DJ he hired to revamp the station from Smashy and Nicey to fresh-faced youth. He tells Campbell on BBC Radio Five Live about the Jimmy Savile, the alleged paedophile he never really knew:

“I wasn’t particularly close to him, as you know. It was a producer who looked after Jimmy, and he was very much a loner wasn’t he. He came into the building, did his thing and went off again. He wasn’t one to socialise with any of you guys or the girls in the office, so I’m really a bit staggered about all of this.”

Coco Austin sticks out her chest and soldiers into Superstorm Sandy

WHAT does facing disaster bring out in you? When extreme weather in the terrifying shape of Superstorm Sandy slapped into the East Coast of America, how did you fare? As families hunkered down, people died and New Yorkrs looked at Okies with envy, most celebrities took to praying on twitter. Nana Gouvêa, a Brazilian glamour model on tour in the Big Apple, thought it apt to pose atop the destruction. But the star who starred down the Hurricane was Coco. Anorak’s former Woman of the Year (photos) knew what was needed. In an act of everyday heroism, she did NOT zip up her tracksuit top:

Nana Gouvêa models Superstorm Sandy fashion (photos of the glamour model who became a meme)

WHAT every story needs is a celebrity. It is the 9th Rule of Tabloid Journalism. Disappointingly, stars were either too rich to be on the Jersey Shore or busy praying on Twitter to get truly involved with Superstorm Sandy. Nana Gouvêa saw her chance. The Brazilian glamour model was on her first trip to Manhattan. And when the storm struck, ruining lives and killing, she posed. A diaster became a backdrop. As her husband Carlos Keyes snapped away, viewers of her blog got to see what Hurricane fashions look like. They also got to guess which is the more wooden: Nana Gouvêa or a broken tree…

Jimmy Savile: John Peel might have shagged Bella Thorne

FIRST they came for the convicted paedophiles. Next they came for a man who made a living dressing up as Hitler and falling over. Gary Glitter has been arrested in connection with the police investigation of Jimmy Savile. Now Freddie Starr has been pinched.

Both arrests are rooted in the testimony of Karin Ward, who alleged in an ITV documentary that Savile sexually abused her. She was 14. She alleges that Starr tried to grope her. Karin Ward also said that she saw Gary Glitter having sex with an underage girl in Jimmy Savile’s BBC dressing room.

Why Disney buying Star Wars & Co, is a good thing

NERDS, geeks, sci-fi nuts and nostalgia enthusiasts have been kicking through the air, swearing and cussing at the news of Disney’s new ownership of Star Wars. Disney, it seems, are going to spoil the Star Wars franchise and the rest of the Lucasfilm canon.

“Obviously I’ve been talking about retiring for several years now,” George Lucas said. “I wanted to get into sort of another stage of life where I’m not in the film business anymore, where I don’t have to run a corporation. It occurred to me one day that the perfect person to run the company was [Lucasfilm co-chair] Kathy [Kennedy]. It’s just such a perfect fit, and I felt that I really wanted to put the company somewhere in a larger entity that would protect it. Disney is a huge corporation; they have all kinds of capabilities and facilities. There’s a lot of strength to be gained by this.”
