Chelsea’s John Terry Is Being Tried By A Vengeful Media That Excuses Racism

JOHN Terry, the Chelsea captain, must be presumed innocent of racially abusing QPR’s Anton Ferdinand. Terry says it was a misunderstanding that he came to mouth the words “fu***ng black c**t” on camera. The football pundits make their feelings known, presenting Terry’s latest problem in the context of past misunderstandings. Only, none of the items on Terry’s list of alleged inappropriate behaviour features racism.

Terry is looking like a victim of his reputation, rather then the facts.

Terry says he is proud to be captain of a racially mixed team. He has worn an armband demanding that racism be kicked out of football. But neither point is relevant. Terry would no more refuse to play with a black man then he would openly join the BNP. Terry just upholds the current culture of football that means overt racism is universally unaccepted.

This is not to say that racism does not exist in football. It is just that racism does not exist in polite society. Britain is a country where difference is embraced and tolerated. Thank god. But around the dinner party table, racism is there. In private, racism is there. Any minority knows that they are held to standards to which white, Christian Britons could never aspire. When Tam Dalyell MP said that Tony Blair was “unduly influenced by a cabal of Jewish advisers“, British Jews winced. Here was an old canard about those clever Jews – and to Jews, being called clever can be taken as a slight, a conniving glance to when Jews were presented as demonic and wily. When a wanted criminal is revealed as black, all blacks take a sharp intake of breath.

Sun Lamabasts Mong Faced Ricky Gervais But Employs Down’s Syndrome Hating Frankie Boyle

WHEN Ricky Gervais pulled his mong face and launched a one-man mission to change the use of a word that causes offence, the Sun was deeply upset. In “My View“. Sam Carlisle told Sun readers:

MY daughter’s friend Jamie, eight, is a “mong”. Jamie’s Down’s makes him so destructive his family have replaced their TV eight times in three years. Jamie, eight, gets up before his exhausted parents, removes his nappy and poos on the floor. His mum recently heard someone whisper “mong” in a shop. She broke down… It’s not the harmless put-down Gervais claims.

A smart comedian choosing to use the word puts attitudes back decades. Does Ricky remember Fiona Pilkington, who set fire to herself and her disabled daughter, Francecca Hardwick, after years of abuse from a gang? So Ricky, try using the word ‘mong’ in Jamie’s mum’s company. Hilarious.

Might this be the same Sun which employs Frankie Boyle to write a weekly column? Boyle is the TV comic who makes jokes about children with Down’s Syndrome?

Sharon and Keiron Smith were at one of his shows. She told him: “My daughter has Down’s syndrome and I’m very upset.”

To which he replied:

“This is my last tour. I don’t give a **** what people think.”

If The Euro Fails, Europe Fails: Hurrah!

ANGELA Merkel tells us that if the euro fails then Europe fails: to which the correct response is Hurrah!

Germany’s chancellor Angela Merkel today warned that the failure of the euro would lead to the fall of Europe as she outlined a plan to bail out Greece’s stricken economy.

However, rather sadly, this isn’t in fact true. If the euro fails it does not mean the failure of Europe, nor even of the European Union. It means just the failure of a particular idea of it. Sadly here can be a matter of taste of course: I’m so eurosceptic I’ve even stood as a UKIP candidate, a position that I’m aware quite a lot of you won’t share.

Thermal Imaging Cameras Prove Occupy London More Inhabited Than City Bankers’ Homes: Reptiles Are Cold Blooded

IS Occupy London a success? The right-wing press point to the empty tents, left behind as protestors go home to heat, light and telly, as evidence of laziness and lack of vim. The news that 90% of all tents are empty was spotted by the Times,Telegraph, Sun, and Daily Mail. The revelation was apparently based on thermal imaging cameras attached to a police chopper. The Telegraph then conducted its own survey.

The 90% figure seems to have been sparked by Corporation of London councillor  Matthew Richardson, who told the Daily Mail:

“It’s incredible. The overnight monitoring of the site by the police showed that 90 per cent of the tents are unoccupied. It just shows most of the demonstrators don’t have the courage of their convictions and are just here to make trouble. Leaving your tent here overnight is a good way to do it. It’s a phantom camp – a big charade.”

The same thermal imaging cameras might be trained on City banks and offices during the night to see how useful those buildings are. In the interests of fairness, Anorak has shone thermal cameras at City workers’ homes, both first, second and third. We can reveal that only 5% are occupied at night.

Says our expert:

“The thermal images only pick up warm-blooded humans. Chances are they will be useless on bankers, recording only the presence of cleaners, au pairs and lap-dancers.”

The left-wing press points towards the protestors disabilities, jobs and that not everyone who wants to protest fancies sitting in the cold and the wet without a break.

Libya Is A Rabid Dog Waiting For The Next Gaddafi NATO Approves Of

THERE can be no hand-wringing for the fate of Gaddafi. He maimed and murdered his people in a vain glorious attempt to retain his family’s fortune and power. He used terror squads of mercenaries and tanks. He tortured and showed no mercy. None at all.

Libya and Gaddafi news coverage has been at saturation point for months.

What has happened in the past four or five days has shown war is bloody, brutal and often totally uncontrolled.

It is not at all nice…and little or no difference between the in-country opponents.

There is NO good side and the social and traditional practices of Libya’s tribal factions are an anathema to almost all international opinion. This is clearly shown by the diplomatic protests over the feral revengeful treatment of captured individuals.

African Prostitute Turns Into Donkey During Sex

HARD luck on Sunday Moyo, 28, from Mandava township in Zvishavane, Zimbabwe, charged with bestiality when the prostitute he hired turned into a donkey.

Zvishavane magistrate Mildred Matuvi heard how Moyo was spotted by police shagging a donkey tied to a tree.

The accused tells the court:

“Your worship, I only came to know that I was being intimate with a donkey when I got arrested. I had hired a prostitute and paid US$20 for the service at Down Town night club and I don’t know how she then became a donkey.”

Is Chelsea’s John Terry A Teflon-Coated Odious Chancer Or The Misunderstood Hero?

IS John Terry, the hard-to-like Chelsea and England captain, a racist?

Footage shows Terry mouthing the words “black c**t” and “fu*king knobhead“ during his side’s defeat to QPR.

The allegation is that he directed the words towards Anton Ferdinand, the QPR defender who is of mixed-race.

The video does not show all of Terry’s sentence. The opening part is obscured by Ashley Cole’s head. Terry says his sentence began with the words: “Oi! I never said…”

Terry says he uttered the words without racist intent. Says Terry:

“I thought Anton was accusing me of using a racist slur against him. I responded aggressively, saying that I never used that term.

The story makes the front page of the Sun.

Never Knowingly Transparent: Libyan Government Now Holds Probe Into Gaddafi Murder

THE already had enough and quitting interim leader of the Libyan nation Mustafa Abdel-Jalil finally announced he had formed a committee to decide on disposal arrangements for the bodies of the ousted Muammar Gaddafi, his son and military commander

All done and dusted at a secret desert burial pit early today.

But there was another, much quieter, announcement. Abdel-Jalil also said the National Transitional Council had given in to international pressure and announced it will investigate last week’s killing of Gaddafi.

This being the same council which announced the dead Gaddafi was alive and on his way to Misrata, then died from wounds, then died as a result of being caught in crossfire (from pro-Gaddafi forces) while in an ambulance. This while the ambulance was already being shown loading with Gaddafi’s lifeless body and militia were describing how they had first gut-shot and then killed Gaddafi with a bullet in the head.

So yet another committee to look into the circumstances of the deaths of Gaddafi and his son Mutassim in Sirte, the scene of his regime’s last stand.

We also want to treat the soldiers to a huge flashmob style thank-you from all the British public for the on-going work they are doing.

We obviously understand the logistics involved in this might be complicated. Gaddafi Becomes Riddle Of The Sands: Bodies Tipped In Secret Desert Graves

MUAMMAR Gaddafi, the 69-year-old Libyan tyrant who spent 42 years as the iron man in control of his country, was buried in the Libyan desert at dawn today.

Officials from the interim government had said the ousted Libyan leader would be buried in a secret desert grave, ending a wrangle over his corpse which meant many feared for the country’s stability.

Government militia had put the body on show in a cold store in Misrata while they argued over what to do with it.

Decay forced an end to the ghoulishness.

Chelsea’s John Terry Says He Is The Real Victim Of QPR Abuse: Anton Ferdinand Might Wonder

DID England and Chelsea captain John Terry racially abuse QPR defender Anton Ferdinand? Coming after the allegation that Liverpool’s Suarez called Manchester United’s Evra a nigger, this looks like more bad news for football (Suarez denies the charge.).

The allegation is that Terry called Ferdinand a black c**t.

Terry’s explanation is that the conversation went like this:

Ferdinand: “Did you just call me a f***ing black c***?”
Terry: “Oi! I never said f***ing black c*** you f***ing knobhead.”

Terry issues a statement:

“I’ve seen that there’s a lot of comments on the internet with regards to some video footage of me in today’s game. I’m disappointed that people have leapt to the wrong conclusions about the context of what I was seen to be saying to Anton Ferdinand. I thought Anton was accusing me of using a racist slur against him. I responded aggressively, saying that I never used that term. I would never say such a thing, and I’m saddened that people would think so. I have known Anton for a long time and spoke to him about it after the game, and there was no problem between us. I congratulated him on their win. He has not accused me of any wrongful remark. It was clear it was all a misunderstanding at the time. After the result, I am saddened to be dealing with these wrongful allegations. I am the proud captain of one of the most internationally diverse teams in the Premier League and I absolutely believe that there is no place for racism in sport and indeed in any walk of life.”

Context is important. In this age of the internet, where words can be taken out of context and played with – where political discourse is reduced as the players dare not use irony – words can take on new meanings.

Laying In A State: Gaddafi Hit With Fatwa To Rot For Libya: Photos

THE holders of Col. Muammar Gaddafi’s now rapidly decomposing and odorous body still have made no public announcement re disposal arrangements for the murdered tyrant.

Perhaps the new interim Libyan Government wants to elevate Gaddafi to Royal standard.

It is normal in muslim deaths, sudden or otherwise, for the body to be washed and buried as quickly as possible. The speed comes from the wish to keep a healthy surviving population in hot climates.

Britain’s Royal Family has a habit of prolonging things a little. When Queen Elizabeth (“Never, Never, Never trust a German”) the Queen Mother died at 101-years-old on March 30, 2002 she Lay in State until her April 9 funeral when she was paraded through London before being interred at Windsor Castle.

Hillary Clinton Wants Lockerbie Bomber Slammed Up: Megrahi Might Wish He Were Dead

HILLARY CLINTON, the USA Secretary of State, wants the United Kingdom’s worst mass murderer convicted of the Lockerbie bombing back in a Scots jail.

Her demand came as Libyans celebrated freedom from 42 years of Gaddafi. The street parties coincided with the discovery of mass killings in Gaddafi’s last stronghold Sirte. The New York Times says mutilated bodies of 58 pro-Gaddafi officials and bodyguards, many Black, were found in the grounds of a hotel which had been held by the militia attacking the town.

The bodies are thought to have been there at least a week. All shown signs of abuse and execution. One was decapitated.

The USA Secretary of State had another attack on the Scottish move of freeing Abdelbaset al Megrahi on compassionate grounds in 2009. She also said if the Scots refused then someone else may feel the bomber’s collar.

The Herald, Glasgow, reports:

‘She said: “We want to see him returned to prison, preferably in Scotland, where he was serving the sentence, but if not, elsewhere, because we thought it was a miscarriage of justice that he was released from the sentence that had been imposed for the ghastly bombing of Pan Am 103.” ‘

X Factor ‘Bully’ Misha B Will Kill The Sunshine If She Does Not Win

X FACTOR Monday: the Daily Mirror leads with news of Misha Bryan, the Manchester wannabe dubbed Misha B by the marketing-minded judges and a nod to text messaging. The front-page headline informs us:

“I WAS A BULLY..BUT I’LL CHANGE”

That ellipse was teasing. Anorak had supposed that in the lust for ratings and something original, we might have got:

“I was a bully.. And I loved it”

or

“I was bully.. Vote for me or I’ll kick your face in”

Instead we get the usual recovery position in which the X Factor starlet is presented as a victim. The opening line of Mark Jefferies’ report tells us:

BROUGHT up by an aunt, Misha Bryan was 10 when she discovered her mum had abandoned her at just three months…

That’s an undeniably sad story. And it’s why she became a bully, right?

Speaking of the trouble she got into as a 15-year-old at Trinity High in Hulme, Manchester, she said: “At school I was bullied – and I did bully people myself, but I am a different person now.”

Gaddafi Unleashes Weapon Of Mass Destruction – Libya’s Tribalism

TODAY is officially the first day of Libya’s After Gaddafi independent existence.

A bright new future awaits.

Perhaps, maybe…they just might do it.

Unlikely. This is a huge and fractured desert tribal state with the only vestige of urban civilisation in the coastal cities.

Times is hard for your average jobbing war correspondent. Any militant with a charged up mobile phone can make an idiot of you in seconds.

Classic examples were spitting from the plasma screens last Thursday morning as a (probably) very shocked Libya National Transitional Council tried to keep the lid on the fact Muammar Gaddafi had been bumped off. Slaughtered by a rabble militia milling around a Sirte exit road drainage pipe and arguing among themselves whether Gaddafi and his also captured son lived or died.

Prince Harry Is Dating Kate Middelton Look Alike Jessica Donaldson: Photos

PRINCE Harry is doing his bit for Anglo-American relations by stepping out with an American named Jessica Donaldson.

She’s 26 and, according to the Sun, is a dead ringer for Kate Middleton.

Is this the real story? Forget those tabloid tales of Harry and Pippa Middleton, it’s the older sister Harry really wants. He’s scoured the world for His Kate, most recently the North Pole and finally found someone who looks just like his sister-in-law living in San Diego.

Granted, Jessica has tattoos, is shorter than Kate, has a more bulbous nose, less luxurious hair, on orangey hue, higher forehead and has never shopped in Jigsaw, but to the Sun’s experts she is a dead ringer for Princess Katherine.

YOU may have seen Lindsay Lohan’s teeth looking rotten as hell recently and thought to yourself, ‘how on Earth did that happen so quickly? Did all her veneers fall off?’

Queen Meets Constipated Julia Gillard And Graceful Elizabeth Cambage: Photos

DID Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard bow when she met Her Majesty The Queen at Government House in Canberra? Or does the Republican have constipation? When they first met the Welsh-born Aussie leader failed to curtsy, an oddly churlish move that only makes the grandstanding non-curtsying woman look chippy and sly. Are Republicans just suffering from an inferiority complex?

One subject who did curtsy to the Queen (5ft 4ins) – or stoop – was six foot eight London born Australian basketball star Elizabeth Cambage, 20, who embraced her height by standing atop four-inch heels.

Says Cambage:

“I curtsied, and she shook my hand. She said, ‘You must be a basketball player.’ I said, ‘What gave it away?’ She said, ‘You are very tall – it must be an easy advantage… She was tiny, a little tiny delicate thing. She was sweet. Very queeny. She just carries herself with so much grace and has the time to meet everyone. She is really lovely.”

Gaddafi Dead: Long Live Libya’s New Murderous Justice System

THE murder after the capture of Muammar Gaddifi shames us all. There was no Geneva Convention no honours of war. It was a horrible and bloody act committed by a baying pack. (And the Sun loves them.)

There were the usual platitudes: “died of wounds while being transported“, “caught in cross-fire” and at last one brave rebel stood up and told the world he had shot, the unarmed, Gaddifi through the liver and then temple.

It was not the act of a group fit to rule and augers badly for Libya after 42 years of subjugation by the Gaddifi family. That family had also supported and armed the IRA and terrorist groups throughout the world as part of Gaddifi’s mad world revolution plan.
