Princess Diana And Dodi Fayed Were Engaged – Says German Journalist Who Never Reported It

DID you know that Princess Diana had a “SECRET ENGAGEMENT“.

No, not a meeting with a dress designer last week at her current abode on the fabled sixth floor of Harvey Nichols department story. This secret engagement was to Dodi Fayed.

Given that Diana played out so much of her life in the public eye as a celebrity princess, and that Dodi’s dad, Mohamed Al Fayed has never been reluctant to speak publicly of his family’s links to the royals, the news is a shocker. But, still, this is the Daily Express and its front page is informative:

PRINCESS Diana and Dodi Fayed were already secretly engaged when she was killed, according to explosive new evidence.

Evidence?

A German journalist has come forward to tell of a visit to Monte Carlo by Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed – just seven days before the fatal Paris car crash in August 1997.

Yes. A journalist… She should offer a clear account that stick to the facts. So. About that evidence..?

Trixi Chall, who wrote for Germany’s popular Bild newspaper for two decades, claims she saw Diana pointing at and picking out a diamond-encrusted ring from an exclusive jeweller as they strolled through the resort.

Were Non-Rioting Jordan Blackshaw And Perry Sutcliffe-Keenan Jailed For Facebook Thought Crimes?

HAVE Jordan Blackshaw, 20, and Perry Sutcliffe-Keenan, 22, been jailed for thought crimes? Are they lyrical terrorists, like the woman who wrote about killing kaffirs as she worked at WH Smiths? Samina Malik was given a nine-month suspended jail sentence and later cleared.

These two men have been sentenced to four years jail. Blackshaw and Sutcliffe-Keenan, both from Cheshire, admitted using Facebook to plan a riot. No-one responded to their online call. They triggered no riot (unlike them).

Judge Elgan Edwards, QC, the Recorder of Chester Crown Court calls the men’s actions “evil”.

Is that a bit strong? Were the riots – or even thinking about rioting – the work of the Devil?

Clive Goodman Produces The Smoking Gun To Bury Andy Coulson – And David Cameron? Read His Letter

IS this the smoking gun? On March 2 2007, the News of the World’s former Royal Editor Clive Goodman said phone hacking was “widely discussed” at the News of the World under former editor Andy Coulson. Goodman was jailed for four months for plotting to intercept voicemail messages left for royal aides.

Coulson went on to become David Cameron’s spin doctor.

Pathetic Police Arrest Man For Organising Water Fight On Blackberry And Facebook

SO tough are the police in David Cameron’s Bullingdon Britain that a 20-year-old man from Colchester in Essex has been arrested for allegedly arranging a big water fight via BlackBerry Messenger and Facebook. The man is charged with “encouraging or assisting in the commission of an offence“.

An Essex policeman addresses media:

“In the light of recent events, we would have to be careful that [the planned water fight] is not all that it seems.”

Are the police observing Blackberry Messenger and Facebook – or are the big US corporations working with the police to profile their customers?

Cameron says he will “look at whether it would be right to stop people communicating via these websites and services when we know they are plotting violence, disorder and criminality”.

David Starkey Sees A Jamaican Armada: Henry VIII Was A Black Homicidal Maniac

I’M sorry to see that ‘historian’ Dr David Starkey is in the Twitter stocks for his metaphorisation of black skin for criminality. His problem is that he has never to my knowledge written a history of a black homicidal maniac. If only Elizabeth I or her dad Henry VIII – his favourite book and TV topics – had been black he might now be metaphorising white skin for criminality: strange how chance, circumstance and schooling play a part in our avowed certainties and comforts.

Joey Barton’s Dive In Photos: Newcastle United Genius Shocked By Arsenal’s Man’s Gentle Caress

JOEY Barton wants to assure the people of Newcastle that training alone has not dented his ability to be disliked, or as managers put it “get in people’s faces”. Rumours are that he’s been grabbing himself by the throat and contorting his face in rage at himself. He has called himself, allegedly, all manner of revolting names. An expert tell us that he was only days away from stabbing a cigar out on his own eyeball.

In the closed season, Barton has been picking fights on Twitter. But verbal attacks can only go so far and until a social network grabs the nettle of virtual reality thuggery Barton will still need a football pitch and maybe a ball as props.

Wayne Rooney Cleans The Streets: Manchester United Star Saves England From Rioters

WHO would be the best person to champion honesty and love for they neighbour? Why, mob victim and Manchester United footballer Wayne Rooney of course.

The front page of the Daily Star sees England saved by England’s saviour:

“ROONEY: RECLAIM OUR STREETS.”

Like the Manchester United star, Anorak was also dismayed to notice that not one – not one – looter went for the footballs in JD sports. The country has gone Olympics mad with the sprightly youth grabbing tracksuits and trainers. But while that is encouraging, we must lament that a football no longer carries cachet among the kids (see snooker cues, badminton bats and ping-pong tables).

Also, with so much mayhem on the streets, where is it safe for prostitutes to walk?

Man Posts Letters In Dog Poo Box For Two Years

ALF Spence, 91, of Bedale, North Yorkshire, has been posting his letters in the dog poo box in error for two years. Says he:

“A woman walking her dog came up to me, tapped me on the shoulder, and asked what I was doing. I thought she was going to cry when I told her. She held my hand and pointed out that the postbox was on the other side of the road.

“I’ve not got the best eyesight these days but even so, the postbox and the dog dirt box are almost identical. They’re both red, the same shape and stuck on a post.

“I bet I’m not the only pensioner to get confused. The bloody council should never have put them so close together.”

Alf ’s daughter Susan May, 59, tells the Sunday Sport:

“Every time I asked dad if he’d remembered one of kids’ birthdays, he’d say, ‘Yes, there’s a cheque in the post’. “When they never showed up we thought he was either losing his marbles or was just plain lying…

“What I’d like to know is why the people who empty the dog poo box have never wondered why Dad’s letters are in there. Surely they could have passed them on to Royal Mail or forwarded them on to the addressees with a letter saying where they were found?”

Or wrapped them in a plastic shopping bag and tossed them into a tree in the park…

If you liked that – you’ll love this.

Was Richard Bowes Killed For Being White?

RICHARD Mannington Bowes is dead. He was 68. He lived in Haven Green, Ealing, London.

The Daily Mail calls him a “hero” in the headline:

Hero from the old school who took on the looters loses his fight for life

Mr Bowes is a tabloid hero – just like Harood Jahan, Shazad Ali and Abdul Musavir, who were hit and killed by a car in Birmingham. Two youths and adult have been arrested on a charge of their suspected murders. The arrested adult is black. There is talk of their killings being racially motivated.

The Ealing Gazette also calls Bowes a hero:

Ealing Hero Richard Mannington Bowes dies after attack

Richard Mannington Bowes was beaten up by thugs he was remonstrating with as they burnt a bin near to his home.

Michael Seamark, Tom Kelly and Nick Mcdermott join forces to write a Mail piece that pretends to know the victim:

He was never a man to walk away from something he considered wrong.

Never?

But the civic pride and old fashioned values of Richard Mannington Bowes, cost him his life.

Civic pride? Leave that to the Swiss. Wasn’t Mr Bowes just trying to look after his property and talk to the wrongdoers?

The tabloids see the hero in the ordinary men and then try to build them into something out of the ordinary.

As for his killers… Well, do we sense a smattering of hope amid the ultra violence and mayhem?

Bystander father-of-four Peter Firstbrook dragged the pensioner away from the fire.

The 60-year-old documentary filmmaker, who broke through the lines of rioters to help, said: “There were about 120 youths. One of them, a big black lad in his early twenties, approached me and said something like: ‘There’s one of your lot over there and he’s injured’.

“‘Three young lads from the crowd also seemed quite concerned and helped me drag him to an alleyway. He was unconscious and had blood coming from his ear. There were no external injuries.’”

“One of your lot..?” What does he mean?

Is race an issue in these riots? Was Mark Duggan killed because he was black? Were Harood Jahan, Shazad Ali and Abdul Musavir killed because they were Asian? Was Richard Bowes killed for being white? Did a white man mug Ashraf Haziq because he was Malaysian?

We wait to find out if race played a part in these killings and crimes. But the saddest part of the story on the death of Richard Bowes is this in the Times:

Police discovered his identity yesterday morning, three days after the attack, as no friends or family had come forward to report him missing. Neighbours recognised his face but, in the words of the police officer leading the investigation: “They know who he is, but they don’t know who he is.”

It’s not race, sex  and age that divides – it’s ignorance and a lack of care for the people we see every day. Whisper it to yourself: they’re just like you and me – even the idiotic kids, bad mothers, rogue policemen, nurses, militant shopkeepers, the white working class at the bottom of the heap – they who it fashionable among even liberals to call chav and white trash – the young black men paraded on Newsnight to assure the intelligensia that the dark-skinned are not all gang bangers, the  judges and the thieves. The joy in demonising The Other is satisfying – it’s not me it’s them. But it’s a lie. Take a look at the faces of the accused in the media (see above). They are a cross-section of society. David Cameron is wrong they do represent the country.

The odd thing is that these riots may well be the bang on the nose the country needed. The villains are being paraded before us. They are being held in the media’s stocks – named and shamed.

A Cypriot friend tells me that in his country the names of the arrested are broadcast on news bulletins. Everyone knows the wrong uns. Forget the hoods and the balaclavas- that’s you on the telly. Look, mum – I’m famous!

Now – let’s get down to the job 0f mocking the villains. We haven’t lost our sense of humour…

Three Asians Dead In Birmingham: Blacks And Poor Whites Are Hate Figures In ‘Looming Race War’

HAROON Jahan, 21,Shazad Ali, 30, his brother, Abdul Musavir, 31, are dead. They were on the street protecting their area of Birmingham when they were killed by car. The three men are of Pakistani origin. The two men in the car were black. A man has been arrested on suspiscion of murder.

The papers are quick to praise them.

The Daily Star calls them “HEROES” on its front page. The Mirror agrees. They are once more front-page “heroes“.

The tabloids love to protect a story in monochrome black and white. And black is bad. Working class white is worse – they are the one group it is still alright to call names and insult. Colour matters. The Times talks of a “looming race war“:

Tension crackled like static on the dusty streets of Winson Green yesterday. In a city whose Asian and African-Caribbean communities have not always enjoyed harmonious relations, young British Pakistanis gathered in huddles predicting a looming race war… Lost on no one was the ethnicity of the men in two cars which at 1.10am on Wednesday were driven at speed directly into a group standing on the pavement outside a petrol station.

Kerry Katona: So – How Are You Going To Die?

KERRY Katona is stood by a washing line from which five teddies are hanging. One is hanging by its ears. Three are hanging by their arms. Alongside this scene of nursery torture, Kerry smiles over the OK! magazine headline:

“Kerry cracks up!”

Is this a cruel pun on her drug-taking past and bi-polarism? Another headline appears:

“My ex mark can drown himself in the Big Brother pool”

This delightful turn of phrase is only made more hideous when we see that also on the OK! cover are two of Kerry’s children – the pair she had with Mark Croft – her ex-husband. One is sat in a laundry basket. The other is touching the wire from which the teddies are hanging. Is it plugged in?

This is no joke because having introduced the kids and the reader to the idea of daddy being dead (he’s not on Big Brother), OK! then asks lots of question about potentially lethal moments in Kerry’s life:

OK!: “Which of your exes wouldn’t you mind finding face down in the Big Brother pool?”

Mark Duggan Never Fired A Gun – But The Police Always Shoot To Kill

WAS Mark Duggan murdered by the police?  The police were armed when they pilled over the silver Toyota Estima minicab he was a passenger in on Ferry Lane, close to Tottenham Hale tube station. The police shooter was tooled up with Heckler and Koch MP5. The police shoot to kill. Tap. Tap. It’s the way of the SAS.

As we told you – read this:

The police NEVER shoot to wound. The Rules of Engagement for police officers is to fire two hollow point rounds directly into the chest.

This is the Double Tap favoured by the Special Forces as the SAS and SBS. (Who would also be armed with hollow-point ammunition when shooting at fellow country men and woman).

There has never been a UK Police shoot to warn or wound policy. It has always been Shoot to Kill. When a firearm (in some cases air rifle or air pistol) is as much as pointed in the direction of Police Officers in, say, North or West Yorkshire Forces recently there has not EVER been a case where the culprit was not shot and killed. No trial, no wounds…Dead.

The police use Dum-Dum bullets because they can not and will never give an opportunity for an armed suspect to shoot them.

Was Mark Duggan armed? A non-police gun was found at the scene. The converted BBM Bruni self-loading pistol was found to have a “bulleted cartridge” in the magazine.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission issues a missive:

The Independent Police Complaints Commission’s investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting of Mark Duggan is continuing today, with investigators examining statements, as well as analysing results of forensic tests and awaiting further results.

The IPCC is carrying out a full CCTV trawl of the area, as well as CCTV from buses in the area at the time. Our investigators will be examining recordings of radio transmissions from both police and London Ambulance Service, including 999 calls with a view to tracing further witnesses. We will also be examining any intelligence and surveillance material leading up to the planning of the operation.

At this stage, it has been established that at approximately 6.15pm on Thursday 4 August 2011, officers from the Metropolitan Police Service’s Operation Trident and SCD 11 accompanied by officers from the Met’s Specialist Firearms Command (CO19), stopped a silver Toyota Estima people carrier minicab in Ferry Lane, close to Tottenham Hale tube station in Tottenham to carry out an arrest.

Mark Duggan was a passenger in the minicab. What happened next is subject to the independent investigation.

Two shots were fired by one CO19 firearms officer.

Paramedics from London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended along with medics from the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) but Mr Duggan was pronounced dead at scene at 6.41pm.

A non-police issue handgun was recovered from the scene.

A post mortem examination concluded that Mr Duggan was killed by a single gun shot wound to the chest. He also received a second gunshot wound to his right bicep.

Tap. Tap.

The IPCC commissioned tests by the Forensic Science Service (FSS) who have so far confirmed that:

• The bullet lodged in the MPS radio is a “jacketed round”. This is a police issue bullet and, whilst it is still subject to DNA analysis, it is consistent with having been fired from an MPS Heckler and Koch MP5.

• The firearm found at the scene was a converted BBM ‘Bruni’ self loading pistol. This is not a replica; the scientist considers it to be a firearm for the purposes of the Firearms Act and a prohibited weapon and is therefore illegal.

• The handgun was found to have a “bulleted cartridge” in the magazine, which is being subject to further tests.

At this stage there is no evidence that the handgun found at the scene was fired during the incident. The FSS has told the IPCC that it may not be possible to say for certain whether the handgun was fired, however further tests are being carried out in an attempt to establish this.

The officer whose radio was hit was taken to Homerton Hospital where he was examined and discharged later that night.

The minicab driver was not physically injured, but was badly shaken by what he saw. His account along with that of the officers is being examined along with the emerging forensic evidence.

IPCC Commissioner Rachel Cerfontyne said: “I know this is an incredibly difficult time for Mark Duggan’s family, who have made it abundantly clear that they in no way condone the violence that we have all seen on the streets of London and elsewhere over the past three nights. I am committed to ensuring they are provided with answers from the IPCC about the investigation into Mark’s death as soon as we have them, and I acknowledge their frustration that this can be a lengthy process.

“I know that much of this information has been reported in the media already, alongside much inaccurate speculation. Any concerns expressed by the wider public about a perceived lack of information from the IPCC should be considered in the context that I am only willing to share information once I have had it independently verified and once the people who are directly involved in this case – including Mr Duggan’s family and community leaders – have been fully informed.

“I also have a responsibility to balance the need to provide information, with the need to avoid adversely affecting other judicial and coronial processes. This means that it would not be appropriate for me to put all the information we receive into the public domain as soon as we receive it. I assure you that our findings will be made public as soon as we can legally and legitimately do so

“I will continue to oversee the IPCC investigation and IPCC family liaison managers continue to be on hand to support Mr Duggan’s family while our investigators get on with establishing the facts of this case.”

The shooting took place on Ferry Lane, close to Tottenham Hale tube station, and anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us in confidence on 0800 096 9079 or e mail ferrylaneshooting@ipcc.gov.uk

A lawful killing? If he had the gun and the gun was loaded…

Mark Duggan, Anders Breivik And Jean Charles de Menezes: Cressida Dick’s Dum-Dum Police Shoot To Kill

MARK Duggan, Anders Breivik, Jean Charles de Menezes, Cressida Dick and those Dum-Dum bullets banned by the Geneva Convention. Alan White reports:

AFTER Norway’s mass-murderer Anders Breivik started firing few of those who were hit had any chance of survival.

He was using hollow point ammunition or ‘dum-dum’ bullets during his killing spree – after first impact the bullet shreds and tears through large sections of flesh causing terrible internal and exit wounds.

According to the outraged Daily Mail on July 26:

“The chief surgeon at a hospital treating victims of Norway’s camp massacre said the killer used special bullets designed to disintegrate inside the body and cause maximum internal damage. Dr Colin Poole, head of surgery at Ringriket Hospital in Honefoss north west of Oslo, said surgeons had recovered no full bullets. He said: ‘These bullets more or less exploded inside the body. These bullets inflicted internal damage that’s absolutely horrible.’”

So horrible, the use of Dum Dum ammunition is forbidden by the Geneva Convention. No country may allow its soldiers to use Dum-Dum bullets in any form when fighting or quelling enemy civilian riots. If they do the leaders of the countries allowing the use of hollow point bullets would be charged with War Crimes.

Media Use Photos And Mark Lambie To Bury Mark Duggan In Tales Of Torture And Lies

MARK Duggan has been killed by the police by Tottenham Hale Tube Station in London? Was it legal? We do not know. The police say he was shot in the process of his arrest. Reports suggest the bullet that lodged in a policeman’s radio was police issue. Did a policeman fire it? Is police ammo in the hands of the villains? We do not know. But the press have been keen to take sides and trigger a debate.

The Daily Mail does this with photos. The paper was quick to label Duggan a “gangster“. This term served to buy into the glamour of the gangsters – so much better than a mere drugs dealer or villain – and also create an impression that Duggan was involved in heavy organised crime. If he was, was he any good at it? He lived on the Broadwater Farm Estate. Is that where top villains live – on a shabby estate in North London? You can keep your big house in the country and villas in the sun.

Brixton Riots – Don’t Blame Twitter. Blame Morrissey and St Trinians

THERE’S a lot of silliness this morning about how last night’s London riots were not caused by opportunist chavs bent on smashing things up and getting a very good deal on a new pair of Reeboks. But is it actually Twitter’s fault. The theory is that otherwise law abiding individuals heard all about the fun on the riot hashtag and suddenly morphed into anarchists bent on causing chaos in north (and a bit of south) London.

But why should the buck stop with Twitter – here are three other reasons why we saw widespread rioting last night.

1 Blackberrys – I was actually going to do a jokey post about the way in which QWERTY keyboard phones have made it so much easier for wannabe rioters to keep themselves organised. But then this lot beat me to it with a detailed examination of how Blackberry’s messenger system BBM was used by some of those rioting in Tottenham.

‘BBM as it is known, is an instant messenger system that has become popular for three main reasons: it’s fast (naturally), it’s virtually free, and unlike Twitter or Facebook, it’s private.
