Iyad Albattikhi, Paedos, Foreigners, Fear, Failed Policing And Racism In Lancashire
IN BLACKBURN, “Jordanian takeaway owner Iyad Albattikhi” has been found guilty of head-butting an 18-year-old woman, said to be his former girlfriend.
The Lancashire Telegraph reports that Mr Albattikhi has been sentenced to 20 weeks custody and given a two-year restraining order:
Albattikhi had been living in Blackburn and running Funnyboyz – now Mr Beanz – when 13-year-old Charlene Downes went missing in 2003. She has never been found. Albattikhi was charged with her murder and his landlord and business partner Mohammed Raveshi was charged with assisting an offender. But after a jury failed to reach a verdict in a first trial in May 2007, the case collapsed ahead of a retrial.

IAN Puddick won. The 41-year-old plumber, of Enfield, north London, did not harass his wife Leena’s wealthy lover, Timothy Haynes, of Billingshurst, West Sussex, by telling the world via Twitter, blog posts and web videos about the extra-marital sex.
Ian Puddick revealed lurid details of the affair between Haynes, a high flier at City firm Guy Carpenter Ltd, and Leena, his assistant.

The Anthony Weiner Muslim Conspiracy Theory Just Got Nuttier: Huma Abedin And The Muslim Brotherhood
THE Anthony Weiner is a Muslim conspiracy theory gets even more nutty. Richard Bartholomew takes up the story:
Following widespread ridicule of the suggestion that Anthony Weiner may have secretly converted to Islam as part of a socialist plot to orchestrate a Muslim takeover of the USA, the conspiracy-mongerers are now settling on the idea that Weiner’s wife Huma Abedin – who works as an aide to Hilary Clinton – may be a spy for the Muslim Brotherhood. The inspiration for this has come from Walid Shoebat (whose views I overviewed here) and Ben Barrack; as they explain:
Al-Liwa Al-Arabi (translated here) claims to have leaked an extensive list, which was partially published by Al-Jazeera and several other major Arab newspapers. The detailed list included Huma’s mother, Saleha Abedin, as belonging to the Brotherhood’s secret women’s division known as the Muslim Sisterhood or what is known as the International Women’s Organization (IWO). Egyptian Al-Dostor revealed that the Sisternood included 63 International members that span 16 different countries; it’s also confirmed by the Arab Centre for Studies, headed by researcher Abdul Rahim Ali. Neither Huma nor any major western media outlet even mention what is common knowledge in the Arab world. Yet, confirmed by Arab sources – is that Huma Abedin has a brother named Hassan Abedin who works at Oxford University.

Ryan Giggs Investigates News Of The World Over Phone Hacking Claims: Rhodri Giggs Smells Revenge?
RYAN Giggs is the one-man content factory. Today, Manchester United legend Giggs has, as the BBC reports, begun his phone hacking action against Glenn Mulcaire The News of the World – the paper that, allegedly, set up his brother Rhodri Giggs in a failed drugs sting in 2000, broke the allegation that he’d been shagging his sister-in-law Natasha Giggs and keeps Imogen Thomas on a tight leash, she being another of Giggs’ alleged conquests.
BBC home affairs correspondent Tom Symonds tells us:
“Ryan Giggs is a well-known figure and will have been of major interest to the tabloid newspapers. It was probably only a matter of time before the police got round to him and said, ‘We’ve looked at the evidence, got lots of documents seized by the police, and your name is in there.’ That’s probably what’s happened and now he will go away and seek legal action.”

Finding Sarah – From Royalty to the Real World: Duchess Ferguson Lives The Fairytale On Oprah’s Land Of Make Believe
SARAH Ferguson has been on Oprah Winfrey’s TV show Finding Sarah. The full title of the show Fergie reportedly scooped £200,000 for is: “Finding Sarah – From Royalty to the Real World”.
It is not a comedy. This is Ferguson reconnecting with her lotus flower.
The story is that Fergie, mired in debt and scandal for pimping out her former husband, Prince Andrew, for cash, will seek a new life via reality telly. She will market herself not as Duchess Sarah but as Duchess Sarah – The Salvation. As with all things Sarah this journey into Sarah will be conducted in public view.
As we say this is not a comedy. But if it were you might laugh out loud as Sarah fielded a question on flogging access to her ex-husband. Sarah says: “My moral compass is so strong that if I thought I was doing anything wrong, I would have known.”
Sarah says he is the victim of Sarah. She “self-sabotages“. She has a “people-pleasing addiction”.
As she tells it:
“Once upon a time I was a little girl who had a wonderful childhood. I fell in love, became a princess, had two beautiful children, life was perfect but I didn’t think I deserved it. So I sabotaged myself and I hit rock bottom. It was like I had murdered someone. I had murdered Sarah.”
