Prince William wants Valerie Suau jailed for being French: Kate Middleton is topless (but not in Britain)

DID Prince William really say “I want them jailed”? Them, being everyone involved in taking and publishing the topless pictures of Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge?

The Mirror says he did. Is Wills auditioning for job as the King of Thailand?

If the Mirror is right, Wills wants Valerie Suau, the photographer, to be sent to prison. The Daily Mail – hypocrite of hypocrites – tells readers Suau “is pronounced ‘sewer’”. She took the photos from a public road. The rights and wrongs are a matter for French law to rule on. The Windsors are suing Closer magazine for publishing the images. The fine is unlikely to top £24,000. So. Why has no British newspaper published the photographs? What happened to publish and be damned?

Ironic last words – what they said right before they died

IN a textbook case of tempting fate, Californian rapper Erwin McKiness – aka Jew’elz and Inkyy, whose fateful Twitter picture is reproduced below – was killed in a suspected drink-driving accident after apparently tweeting the famous rap refrain, ‘You Only Live Once’. Or to be more accurate: “Drunk af going 120 drifting corners #F**kItYOLO”

Hillsborough: the truth is that the 96 were killed by the State

SIR Norman Bettison. He’s the chief constable who likes to protest his image, accused of manipulating his Wikipedia page to say nice things in a nice way. He was the chief inspector in South Yorkshire police at the time of the Hillsborough disaster (surely State-encouraged mass manslaughter? – Ed). He’s on the cover of the Sun, his face appears amid the headline:

Families of the 96: top cop must go

This is the:

Hillsborough Report Row

And:

Fury at defiant chief’s comments

What is is to be on the side of the angels for the trusty Sun, the paper that for 23 years sided with the State and libelled the dead. Its editor at the time, Kelvin MacKenzie, never resigned amid considerable fury. Indeed, no-one at the Sun did. No-one resigned from the Sun’s its parent group, News International. Indeed, the Sun’s sister title, the News of the World (now dead – and I for one miss it), went on to spy on people, including Milly Dowler, the murdered child. No-one at the top resigned for any of that.

The Innocence of Muslims murders: how Christians used anti-Semitism to whip up hatred

THE Innocence of Muslims protest in photos: In supposed reaction to the dire anti-Islam film, four Americans, including US Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens are dead, murdered by a mob of Islamist protesters in Benghazi. There have been more protests at Sam Bacile’s film in Tunisia, Egypt and Yemen.

Who is Sam Bacile? Well, he might be the persona of Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, 55. Nakoula says he is not Bacile, but knows someone who is.

The AP reports that federal court papers filed against Nakoula in a 2010 criminal prosecution said that he had used numerous aliases, such as Nicola Bacily, Robert Bacily and Erwin Salameh, Ahmad Hamdy, Kritbag Difrat and PJ Tobacco.

…the cell phone number that AP contacted Tuesday to reach the filmmaker who identified himself as Sam Bacile traced to the same address near Los Angeles where AP found Nakoula.

Lake Annecy Murders: Ex-RAF pilot Brett Martin says what he saw

LAKE Annecy murders: Anorak’s look at the four murders in the news media: Meet Brett Martin, the former RAF pilot who was first on the scene. He’s talked on camera to the BBC. Why?

Linked In says a Brett Martin was a “B757 Pilot at Air 2000; Air Defence Weaponeering Instructor (pilot) at Royal Air Force“.

He tells the BBC that he did not see the four-year-old child. He says the bodies were slumped. It does not surprise him that Zaina al-Hilli was not seen. He says it was like a movie.

“If you’ve seen CSI Miami it was pretty much what you would imagine the set from CSI Miami would be like. There was a lot of blood and heads with bullet holes in them.”

Why would a witness to such horror go on the telly? He was asked. Is it that simple?

The Daily Mail says French police are “baffled“; Zainab al-Hilli, 7, has not been interviewed fully; she may lose an eye; the former RAF officer who “stumbled on the carnage” is back in the UK.

Facts are: Saad Al-Hilli, 50, mother Ikbal al-Hilli, 47, Suhaila al-Allaf, 74, and Sylvain Mollier, have been murdered. All shot twice in the head. A double-tap. Police style.

Eric Maillaud, the French prosecutor says:

“She [Zainab]…is the only person alive who actually could have seen something.”

CCTV in schools: ‘If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear’

WHAT is the purpose of placing CCTV cameras in schools? Is it to collect data on pupils and teachers? Is it an attempt by the officials to prove how in control they are and how much they care for the student and staff body? The CCTV camera represents interaction. Don’t discuss and inspire. Just command and be omnipresent. “If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear.” So goes the mantra.

In 2008, the Examination Officers’ Association (EOA) conducted a pilot scheme that it hoped would catch out cheats. EOA chief executive Andrew Harland, said back then:

“There is a growing problem of security and we’re trying to come to terms with that. CCTV would work, both for officers and for the students, in alleviating problems of accusations and speculation. I’m not a ‘big brother’ fan, but you have increasing numbers of people who don’t know the students in the hall.”

People have always cheated. CCTV is installed because its lazy and works on the hideous premise that everyone is a prospective cheat. And that includes the teachers.

Who is Sam Bacile? Does he even exist?

WHEN the US ambassador Chris Stevens and three other US diplomats were murdered at the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya and riots broke out in Egypt, we were introduced to Sam Bacile, an (it says here) Israeli-American who calls Islam as a “cancer” and made a film about it. It’s called Innocence of Muslims. You can see it on YouTube. Libyans did. They took offence at the Prophet Muhammad being portrayed as a child abuser, rapists, homosexual and womaniser. The film helped drive them to murder.

But then, if the Islamists want to find a Westerner doping down Islam, do they need to look far?

Know that:

HISTORIAN Tom Holland is bravely shrugging off Twitter threats this week following broadcast of his Channel 4 documentary Islam: the Untold Story…Now Channel 4 have cancelled the screening party due to be held next week.

The Telegraph reports:

One message sent to Holland read: “You might be a target in the streets. You may recruit some bodyguards, for your own safety.”

The programme is still accessible from the 4OD site.

Proof that police changed evidence to implicate Liverpool fans in Hillsborough disaster

WILL the family and loved ones of the 96 Liverpool FC fans who died as a result of events on 15 April, 1989, know the truth? No, not the Sun’s version of “THE TRUTH”. This is the truth shorn of police, government and media lies. Today, the Hillsborough Independent Panel releases its final report into the horror.

Hillsborough inquest coroner, Stefan Popper, said the dead died from “traumatic asphyxiation”. He said 94 people died on the day before 3:15. (Two people died later in hospital.) Only, sources say at least one, Kevin Williams, might have been breathing after 3:15.  His mother, Anne Williams, claims Kevin was still alive at 16:00.

We will now see the medical records. Could nothing have been done for the dead after Popper’s “cut-off” time of 3:15? It’s hard to believe that’s the case, especially when so many who were injured recovered.

The TUC talks bollocks. Again

YES, it’s the TUC meeting again so obviously we’re going to have a report out or two that spout bollocks about what’s been happening to the economy. This year’s entry is a doozy though: the most charitable interpretation of it is that the TUC employs economists who really, really do not understand economics.

And no, I don’t mean all this neoliberal stuff about no regulation, or letting banking rip. Nor all tyhis social democracy stuff about redistribution and the value of free childcare. No, I mean as in not even understanding the basic numbers.

The troubling story of Lisa Miller and the anti-gay Mennonite church

SAME-sex unions are big news. The Rev. Kenneth Miller 46, a Mennonite from Stuarts Draft, Va., has been found guilty of helping Lisa Miller (no relation) leave the USA in September 2009. Rev. Kenneth Miller has been found guilty of aiding in international kidnapping.

Miller and Jenkins had joined in a Vermont civil union in 2000. In 2002, Isabella was born through artificial insemination. The couple split in 2003. Lisa Miller got custody. Jenkins got visitation rights. Lisa Miller turned her back on her homosexuality. She turned to the Church, becoming a Baptist, then a Mennonite. She refused to let Jenkins see their child. This was in breach of the court.

In August 2009, a judge indicated that unless Lisa Miller comply he would turn custody of the girl over to Jenkins. Preparation swere made for Jenkins to take full custody.

Lisa Miller took Isabella and fled to Nicaragua.

Life Site News reports:

Nicaraguan Mennonites say that they have been persecuted by government authorities since they chose to shelter ex-lesbian Lisa Miller and her daughter Isabella following their escape from the United States, but add that they are willing to suffer and even die to protect Isabella from a court-ordered custody transfer to her non-biological lesbian “mother” [Janet Jenkins].

…The letter of the Nicaragua Brotherhood does not specify which Nicaraguan Menonite churches are represented. Although its publication date is given as February of this year, it appears not to have been distributed outside of Mennonite circles. It was quoted in May in the Mennonite World Review, and was quoted in Jenkins’ lawsuit.

Two great hours with Lady Gaga in Twickenham: the photos

HOW can you not enjoy Lady Gaga, a little, lithe, dance-bodied twenty-something New Yorker who dresses from the deli counter and emerges on the Twickenham stage from a giant eyeball-veined womb, like a fairytale queen on a bag of rosy red apples about to be sieved through her metal fascinator? They comes to pay obeisance to the woman who pulls off knickers, bra and fishnets in public. They are not disappointed. Gaga includes the fans. She sings the hits with enthusiasm. She is self-indulgent, and unafraid of vocalising her opinions, notably on gays in the military. Sometimes she takes drugs. She compliments all, any and each sex on its appeal. Lady Gaga is the popstar you want to solve the problem presented by all the ones you don’t want. Now, what do you wear to meet her?

Annecy Lake Murders: media focuses on Zaid Al-Hilli and ignores Suhaila Al Saffa and Sylvain Mollier

THE Annecy Lake Murders: The murders of Saad Al-Hilli, his wife Ikbal Al-Hilli, 74-year-old Suhaila Al Saffa and Sylvain Mollier in the media:

Sunday Express (front page): “Each victim shot twice”
Sunday Telegraph (front page): ANGUISH OF MURDERED BRITON’S BROTHER”
Star on Sunday (front page): “Victims letter confirms feud”

The media focus is on Zaid Al-Hilli, one of the victim’s older brothers. He denies any row. Still, the Star claims to have seen a letter:

SAAD AL-HILLI: ‘I’VE HAD TO WIPE MY CONTROL FREAK BROTHER OUT OF MY LIFE’ – A FAMILY friend of the British dad murdered in the Alps has lifted the lid on the bitter inheritance feud tearing the Al-Hilli family apart.

Use the Flintshire Doggy Do app to harvest the turds and feed them to slack owners

HAPPY days for John Waters fans and other dog poo enthusiasts. Councils in Blaenau Gwent and Vale of Glamorgan have taken up the free Flintshire Doggy Do app. Thanks to Flintshire council’s technology, every time locals see a dog turd on the street, users press the app. and the map is updated.

Kevin Jones, Flintshire council cabinet member for public protection, waste and recycling, said:

“This app is just one of the methods we are using to address the issue of dog fouling in the county. It means that residents can report incidents to us any time of the day, any day in the week at a time that suits them. It’s restricted for use in the county of Flintshire, and is free to download.”

Lake Annecy murders: the double-tap, nuclear fuel and pointing the finger

THE murders of Saad al-Hilli, 50, his wife Iqbal, 49 (many news sources say she was 47), and her 77-year-old mother in a clearing above Lake Annecy, near Chevaline in the French Alps, are big news. Mr al-Hilli was born in Baghdad. He lived in Claygate, near Esher in Surrey. He worked as a mechanical engineer. He was an “aviation expert“.

Iqbal was dentist.

The mother-in-law barely gets a mention in reports.

The Times says the victims had been shot three times, at least once in the head.

The Daily Mail counts the shots differently:

Was there more than one hitman? Each of British victims was shot TWICE and cyclist witness FIVE times, police reveal – as search continues for killers’ 4×4

Twice? The talk if of assassins. But you know who always shoots twice – the so-called double-tap? The British police and the SAS.

Hillsborough: Sun reporter says Kelvin MacKenzie created the headline “The Truth”

HARRY Arnold tells BBC TV’s Hillsborough: Searching for the Truth that it was editor Kelvin MacKenzie who created the headline “The Truth”. On 15 April 1989, 96 Liverpool supporters lost their lives at Hillsborough football ground. They were in Sheffield for the FA Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest.

Harry Arnold was a Sun reporter from 1976 to 1990. He tells the show:

“On the Sun, Kelvin MacKenzie was the rather controversial editor at the time, he liked to write his own headlines. He wrote the headline ‘The Truth’, and the reason I know that is I was about to leave the newsroom when I saw him drawing up the front page.”

The Sun yelled:

“The Truth – Some fans picked pockets of victims Some fans urinated on the brave cops Some fans beat up PC giving kiss of life.”

The greatest local news photo ever” woman ‘put off men and sausages for life’

THE greatest local news photo of all time featured on the Get Reading website in 2009.

Beneath the headline “Naked neighbour ‘put me off men’“, Anna Roberts told of Denise Woodage (yep, really), who had been “put off men and sausages for life”, having seen “garden pervert Paul Darlow… pleasuring himself in his back garden in Churchwood Walk, Calcot, and frequently spotted him going about his chores naked – save for a pair of boots.”

Darlow was jailed. Mrs Woodage was upset. And the world got the photograph that once seen cannot be forgotten…

Naomi Wolf gets slaughtered on Mumsnet (best and worst comments)

NAOMI Wolf has been chatting about her new book Vagina – A New Biography to the women on Mumsnet. Wolf has made a connection between brain and vagina. She might have also made a link between brains and arse.

Wolf says things like:

“Some people have a lower baseline autonomic nervous system and in lovemaking, something that heightens it like spanking or hair-pulling or some scenario that is threatening – as long as you are in control – that heightens some women’s autonomic nervous system, and in turn heightens their arousal and their orgasm.”

“When you understand that, it’s much less alarming.”
