John Redwood Does Sarcasm
JOHN Redwood can be sarcastic:
The top 1% took home 11.2% of the nation’s net income under unequal Labour in 2009-10, and a much lower 7% this year under the much more equal Coalition. This fall goes all the way down through the top half of earners. The top 50% received 75% of total net income in 2009-10, and only 60% this year. Meanwhile the bottom half receives a bigger share of the income than at any time this century.
All those who wanted a more equal society should rejoice. Indeed, they should be voting for Coalition parties out of gratitude. The Coalition has done something Labour was quite unable to do during its period in office, when the UK became less equal.

Ron Paul explains why he never made it to the White House: no such thing as a just war
ANY idea why Ron Paul never made it to the White House? The former Congressman has made a diplomatic and weighty speech on Chris Kyle, the prolific US Navy Seal sniper who was shot dead, allegedly murdered, in Texas:
As a veteran, I certainly recognize that this weekend’s violence and killing of Chris Kyle were a tragic and sad event. My condolences and prayers go out to Mr. Kyle’s family. Unconstitutional and unnecessary wars have endless unintended consequences. A policy of non-violence, as Christ preached, would have prevented this and similar tragedies. -REP

Peter’s Huhne’s texts to his dad Chris Huhne, an autistic piece of s**t’
CHRIS Huhne is making a lot of people feel a lot better about life. Few things are more rewarding than watching a liar undone. Especially if you’re LibDem MP Chris Huhne’s wife and son.
The now ex-wife, Vicky Price, exposed her husband’s lying to get revenge for his affair.
And then there’s the son, Peter Huhne, who when aged 18, was unimpressed by dad’s relationship with Carina Trimingham. He told dad to “f*** off”.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad goes looking for gays in space
HAS Iran run out of monkeys to fire into space? News is that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is ready and willing to be the first Iranian to orbit the Earth in space. As he says:
“I am ready to be the first human to be sent to space by Iranian scientists. Sending living things into space is the result of Iranian efforts and the dedication of thousands of Iranian scientists.”
To say nothing of reading textbooks of what the Russians did in the 1960s.

Most of ‘proper’ Chris Huhne’s monumental lies in one video
CHRIS Huhne is a liar. He lied about a speeding fine in March 2003. He lied and he lied and he lied. So. Now the former energy secretary -a keen fan of wind power – he’s stepping down as the Liberal Democrat MP for Eastleigh:
“I have pleaded guilty today, I am unable to say more while there is an outstanding trial but having taken responsibility for something which happened 10 years ago the only proper course of action is now to resign my seat in Parliament, which I will do very shortly.”

Gay marriage fail: Paul Clement channels Tina Fey’s Sarah Palin
ON gay marriage:
“I believe marriage is meant to be a sacred institution between two unwilling teenagers” –Tina Fey as Sarah Palin, September 13th, 2008.
“It is no exaggeration to say that the institution of marriage was a direct response to the unique tendency of opposite-sex relationships to produce unplanned and unintended offspring … Only opposite-sex relationships have the tendency to produce children without such advance planning (indeed, especially without advance planning),” – Paul Clement, January 22, 2013, who wants civil marriage just for heterosexuals.

Photo emerges of Obama shooting shotguns for skeet
AMERICA’S attitude to guns is right under the spotlight. Barack Obama wants increased gun control. Vice-President Joe Biden agrees. And then the fudging begins. Obams says he loves all that shootin’:
In a wide-ranging interview with the New Republic, President Obama tackles slew of issues ranging from gun control to football, including this little gem when asked if he’d ever fired a gun: “Up at Camp David, we do skeet-shooting all the time. Not the girls, but oftentimes guests of mine go up there. And I have a profound respect for the traditions of hunting that trace back in this country for generations. And I think those who dismiss that out of hand make a big mistake.”

Dixie’s problem with black Obama and Scotland’s monoculture
WHAT is the US South’s problem with Obama: Garry Wills wonders:
I was made aware of the odd mix of gain and loss when I went back to Atlanta to see my beloved grandmother. She told me not to hold change between my lips while groping for a pocket to put it in—“That might have been in a nigger’s mouth.” Once, when she took me to Mass, she walked out of the church when a black priest came out to celebrate. I wondered why, since she would sit and eat with a black woman who helped her with housework. “It is the dignity—I would not let him take the Lord in his hands.”
Tradition dies hard, hardest among those who cannot admit to the toll it has taken on them. That is why the worst aspects of the South are resurfacing under Obama’s presidency. It is the dignity. That a black should have not merely rights but prominence, authority, and even awe—that is what many Southerners cannot stomach. They would let him ride on the bus, or get into Ivy League schools. But he must be kept from the altar; he cannot perform the secular equivalent of taking the Lord in his hands. It is the dignity.

LibDem MP David Ward says Jews are Nazis – why can’t they be cossacks or Egyptians?
IN readiness for Holocaust Memorial Day, LibDem MP David Ward takes to his website to call the Jews Nazis:
“Having visited Auschwitz twice – once with my family and once with local schools – I am saddened that the Jews, who suffered unbelievable levels of persecution during the Holocaust, could within a few years of liberation from the death camps be inflicting atrocities on Palestinians in the new State of Israel and continue to do so on a daily basis in the West Bank and Gaza.”

Nick Clegg says student fees are great if he’s getting his kids the best money can buy
NICK Clegg says he will not overrule his wife Miriam or son Antonio, 11, if they chose a private school for the lad’s educating.
Nick Clegg is not a wealthy, slimy, cowardly, hypocritical, spineless swine who poses with this family on stage for votes and then hides behind them at the first sign of trouble. He is a modern man who listens to his kids and respects the wishes of his wife. Waddaguy!
Says top family man Nick Clegg:
“If we can and it works out to send him to a good state school we would do so. But like all parents living in London, there’s huge competition for places and we don’t yet know where and exactly at what school. I never have sought to impose a decision on my wife as well as my son for political reasons. They are educated at the moment in the state sector, both our oldest, and I will let you know as soon as a decision has been arrived at.”

Republicans wants rape victims who choose abortions jailed for ‘tampering with evidence’
BLOODY hell, New Mexico. In that corner of the land of the free, moves are being made to force rape victims to carry any resulting pregnancy full term. Abortion will be deemed “tampering with evidence”. If a mugger breaks your face, you should not keep it showing sings of brutality to please the judge when the trial comes up. In what demented mind is a pregnancy evidence of rape?
The bill is being brought by Rep. Cathrynn Brown (R).

What Bill Hicks knew about Obama: peace in our time
YOU know what happens when Obama went behind the screen? Bill Hicks told us in 1993:
“No matter what you promise on the campaign trail, when you win, you go into this smoke-filled room with the 12 industrialist capitalist scum-fucks who got you in there. And you’re in this smoky room, and this little film screen comes down, and a big guy with a cigar goes, ‘Roll the film.’ And it’s a shot of the Kennedy assassination from an angle you’ve never seen before… And then the screen goes up and the lights come up, and they say to the new president, ‘Any questions?'”

Obama’s inauguration in photos: ‘a decade of war is now ending’
“I SAY to you this, America. And this I say to you. Barack Obama is your President. He is my President. He is the…” There is something dull about Obama. He words swoop and soar but land on nothing. You want a definite but all you get is emotion. In place of precision, you get talk of change and hope. We know he’s busy. Things need doing. But in public, his words sound empty, a contrived, bland blend of Woody Guthrie’s homage to America (This Land is Your Land), the Narrator in a child’s Nativity show and self-improvement books. And somehow, Obama’s speaking makes the everyday sound bigger. He says “a decade of war is now ending. An economic recovery has begun.” Does that America has won the war? Is the recession over? No need for details. He has decreed it. And thus is shall be…
Here are the photos of Obama’s inauguration. Sorry, not photos These are the pictures of humanity that can take us forward. These photos can be pinned to your walls of your home, church, mosque, synagogue and classroom. They can be seen by a white man at a desk, a Muslim woman on her way to pray, a Jewish girl with a pierced navel and a Hispanic woman with three kids to feed and a husband watching the nation’s athletes on his television set. A picture taken in Washington by a woman from Arizona of a man from Chicago that can be framed by wood taken from our great forests and hung by the metal hook mined by toil and endeavour from beneath our huddled feet.
