Kim Jong-Un Wears Crown Of Best Otter Fur: North Korea Rejoices
KIM Jong-un (aka Kim Jong good un, aka Kim Jong wrong un) is Kim Jong-il’s son. And little Kim is wearing the crown of power, a furry driving hat dad has made famous.
South Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo reprots on Preserving the Juche Character and National Character of the Revolution Hat:
A former senior North Korean official identified as Choi, who has defected to South Korea, said, “The hat was customized by a foreign master craftsman using top-quality otter fur. It’s an unwritten rule that nobody else can wear such a hat, so if Kim Jong-un is also wearing one, it means he has now reached almost the same status as his father.”

Joe Biden’s Gaffe Proves The BBC Is Biased Against Sarah Palin
JOE Biden is said by the LA Times to be key to Barack Obama’s success – “The success of Obama’s presidency hinges more and more on the negotiating skills and political instincts.”
Best of luck, Barry. Here’s Jo Biden:
That gaffe does not feature on the BBC, which called Obama the “post-partisan” and makes jokes that George Bush is thick and should be murdered.

Tommy Sheridan: Victim Of Arrogance And Left Wing Conservatives
TOMMY Sheridan goes down for three years after being convicted of perjury. He took on the NoTW with a claim of being libeled. He lied to back up his claim that he was not an adulterer who had visited a swinging club. Why did he do it?
Because he was recognised by his peer group and political allies. He had to tell them it was him. He was so arrogant he thought he would get away with it. His political comrades told him it would be better to own up and pass it off. It probably would have been the correct route.
However, Sheridan recognised that many of the ultra left are also conservative (with a small c) in their personal lives. (Often they are fundamentalist protestants or catholics and take a morally squeaky clean approach (whether they are or not, they like to present themselves that way).)
Sheridan told his Party he was going to take the Jeffery Archer route and deny everything. Many told him that was the route to disaster and that is what it has become.

Lord Taylor Of Warwick’s Next Taxi Is A Black Maria
LORD Taylor of Warwick has been found guilty of false accounting over his House of Lords expenses He claimed £11,277.80is expenses. He was accused of claiming for travel costs between a home in Oxford and the House of Lords, when he actually lived in the capital.
Prosecutor Helen Law suggested to the court – great name:
“Those were journeys that didn’t happen from a home that wasn’t his. Lord Taylor knew those facts and he said he didn’t attempt to mislead anyone. I’m going to suggest that as a lawyer and as a member of the House of Lords, the alarm bells would have been ringing loud and clear.”

Swinger Tommy Sheridan’s Last Stand: The Fit And Proper Lawyer
TOMMY Sheridan will have another day in court. It’s one for the Diary, writes AGW:
Dear Diary
Wednesday, January 26, 2011……Australia Day and the Australian Open Tennis Tourney will be shaping to its final…always good for sports copy. One to watch.
Wednesday, January 26. Wedding anniversary …good for copy on vicious assault – on me – if I forget to remember appropriate gift and card.
Wednesday, January 26. Scrum-down and probably big party when former Scottish Socialist Party leader Tommy Sheridan is sentenced after being found guilty of lying about an affair and sex club trip during his defamation case against the News of the World.
The former Member of the Scottish Parliament was convicted of perjury after a 12-week trial at the Glasgow High Court. The verdict brought the closing stages of a six-year media-fest started by theNoW tale of Sex in the City of Manchester and an unnamed politician who visited Cupids Bar a swingers’ club.
The politician sued…to the absolute horror of some of his senior political colleagues.
In 2006 Sheridan won £200,000 damages (never handed over) after a successful defamation case against the Murdoch-owned Sunday, but was again in the dock in October 2010 after witnesses and others accused him of lying in the civil trial.

Tony Blair Should Get An Oscar: The Actor Plays A Chilcot Inquiry
TONY Blair is talking about Iraq again. He’s trying to explaining why he took the country to war. Grease paint. Lights. Action…
Time perhaps for a little blunt and direct talking.
Can Anorak nominate Westminster’s greatest Thespian for a Golden Globe, Bafta and an Oscar?
In an ideal world he could collect them all just before the War Crimes Tribunal he should be facing.
During his recall to the Sir John Chilcot Iraq War inquiry he said he “of course” regrets the loss of life. The loss of British and Allied troops, friendly Iraqis and even the the non-friendly ones.
He was booed for that by the grieving parents of slain servicemen. Relatives who are demanding answers to still unasked questions.

Did Baroness Warsi Miss Hakim Quick?
THE list of speakers who took to the lectern at Earle’s Court’s Ibis hotel for the Islamic Education and Research Academy (iERA) do last Sunday included the wonderfully named – ahem – Sheikh Abdullah Hakim Quick.
Baroness Warsi – a hectoring woman who is not as intelligent as she would like us to think she is – may like to pay attention and let us know when she hears anyone come out with this kind of stuff. Hostility against minority groups is wrong…

Nadhim Zahawi’s Tie Turns Bowel Cancer Into A Crap Joke
NADHIM Zahawi’s novelty tie marks him out as the man with no sense of humour. He is the bore with the Billy the Bass fish; the novelty sock wearer; the man who can quote entire scenes from Monty Python.
The tie breaks into tune. Says he:
“I apologise. It is my tie to support the campaign against bowel cancer that was making that noise. It is a musical tie.”
How does wearing a crappy tie help a patently serious thing like bowler cancer? It is because the tie is shit?
There an echo in here?

Warsi Is Not Yet A Jew Nor A Shag Over The Dubai Dinner Table
BARONESS Warsi, co-chairman of the Tory Party, says prejudice against Muslims has “passed the dinner-table test”.
When asked if they would shag a Muslim over the dinner table, 83% of married non-Muslims Britons said “yes”. This is down of last year’s figure of 94%. Many experts blame Lauren Booth’s conversion for the rise in prejudice and the survey being popular with ex-pats living in Dubai.
But British Muslims are not yet fully ingrained into the dinner table racism. Until a top author like a JK Rowling or Martin Amis can portray the villains as Muslims in much the same way John Buchan, George du Maurier’s Svengali, or Anthony Trollope have done, the chattering classes prejudice will just be chatter.
But being a Muslim in the UK is very different to being a Muslim in a Muslim country. You are held to a different standard.

Barack Obama’s Tuscon Applause Cue Surprises White House
WHEN grey-haired sage Barack Obama put down his gun and spoke about Gabrielle Giffords (Gabby to you), he became the BBC’s first “post-partisan” President. And the crowd clapped.
White House Press Secretary Roert Gibbs was amazed by the clapping:
“I will say that I read the speech several times and thought that there wouldn’t be a lot of applause if any. I think many of us thought that. But I think there was a celebration, again, of the lives of those who had been impacted. Not just at that grocery store but throughout the country. And I think that, if that is part of the healing process, then that’s a good thing.”

Boris Johnson Explains Why The MSM Is Failing
I HAD intended to ignore the latest Boris Johnson effluvia – not unusual for me, as most readers know I am not a fan. His much vaunted “intelligence” is, I believe, grossly over-rated. Too many people, in my view, mistake low cunning, honed by years in a political environment, for intelligence, writes Richard North.
However, numerous e-mails and other contacts, plus an analysis on Witterings from Witney persuaded me to look at it, as it addresses the vexed question of the comments sections on The Daily Telegraph. It appears that the anarchy, ill-temper, and outright trollery that we experience is considered acceptable by Johnson, but approval of any such view should be tempered by several consideration.
Firstly, and rather unfortunately, Johnson displays his usual quotient of ignorance, confusing the “blogosphere” with the “commentariat”. The man refers to the comments by the former and actually believes that the low-grade comment section to his articles is part of the “blogosphere”. As an aside, the confusion, in itself, is so fundamental that it merely demonstrates why, as a commentator, Johnson is a waste of space – not worth the time spent reading him.

Is Sarah Palin Triggered Jared Loughner Did Paul Krugman Do For Silvio Berlusconi?
PAUL Krugman has been vocal in his linking Sarah Plain to Jared Loughner, the mass murdering shooter of, among others, Gabrielle Giffords.
You can link words to Loughner‘s violence, right?
In 2008, Paul Krugman was quoted thus in the New Yorker:
“We had a little portable outside fire pit and we let people throw in an effigy or whatever they wanted to get rid of for the past eight years. One of our Italian colleagues threw in an effigy of Berlusconi.”

Gaddafi Accuses Wikileaks Of Causing Death In Tunisia?
IN Tunisia, scores of people are dead. Libya’s Botox–nursed leader and Mickey Rourke look-alike Muammar Qaddafi (Gawker) says Wikileaks is to blame for the Jasmin Revolution and the bloodshed. Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali is gone. Is the old farter next?
Julian Assange once said Wikileaks’s work has led to the deaths of 1300 people in Kenya. (Does that make Assange guilty in his terms?) .
Gadaffi fingers the site for blame:
“WikiLeaks, which publishes information written by lying ambassadors in order to create chaos.”

Sarah Palin Goes Nuclear On MSNBC
THANKS to the self-defeating bile about Sarah Palin and Jared Loughtner, anyone can see the biased wheels behind the media machine turning. From the lack of words on Obama’s gun, to the willful ignorance of Loughner’s state of mind, the media has been undone.
The latest cavalry charge of the opportunistic lightweight brigade comes on MSNBC’s Hardball, where Chris Matthews and Newsweek’s Jonathan Alter deliver this about Palin’s “blood libel” line:
Matthews: But now, “blood libel”–why would she say a word like that? I thought she had some people around her with some sophistication about the history of anti-Semitism, some knowledge of what that term might mean in history and wouldn’t use it. But she did.

Jared Loughner, J. Eric Fuller And Mental Health In Tuscon
JARED Loughner shot Gabrielle Giffords in the because Sarah Palin produced a photo of crosshairs and… Well, there are other reasons why the Tuscon man murdered six people and shot 14 more. And as experts on the Left says the Right made Loughner do it, we hear of one J. Eric Fuller:
A Tucson mass shooting victim was taken into custody Saturday after yelling “you’re dead” at a Tea Party spokesman during the taping of an ABC-TV town hall event hosted by Christianne Amanpour.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Office said , 63, was involuntarily committed to an undisclosed medical facility…
