Lyndon LaRouche’s Whale Enablers ‘Impeach Obama’
DEMOCRACY was in action this morning as Lyndon LaRouche’s extremists set up a table on Sunset Boulevard near the Starbucks and tried to draw passersby into conversation and then hit them up for a donation.
Old men walked up to yell insults from a safe distance, women screamed obscenities from passing cars.
The first time we saw the LaRouchies and their card table was thirty years ago in the small town of Wilton, Connecticut. Back then, their sign read, “Feed Jane Fonda To The Whales.”

LibDem MPs Caught With Snouts In The Trough
IN the interests of fairness and equality the LibDems have also been found guilty of having their noses in the trough.
The Parliamentary Standards Commissioner, John Lyon, rules that Liberal Democrat MPs Richard Younger-Ross, John Barrett, Sandra Gidley and Paul Holmes are guilty of a “serious misjudgment” in the matter of rent arrangements at the MPs Dolphin Square masnion block.
In brief: the flat owners wanted more rent. Some MPs were invited to agree to pay more rent money or move out in exchange for a cash sweetner. Some agreed. And took the money. This left the taxpayer to foot the higer bill for the MPs to remain ensconsed in their swanky pads.

Silvio Berlusconi And The John Edwards Tiger Woods Invitational Sex Tape
SILVIO Berlusconi shows John Edwards how to do it. If Silvio lived in America he’d be playing golf, like a Tiger.
The Americans don’t like their politicos to have sex.
They can look like they have sex but in the time Bill Clinton’s argued the toss about what sexual relations means, Jacques Chirac, the Minute Man, has squired the typing pool and Silvio has reshuffled his Cabinet.
On Tina Brown’s The Daily Beast site (via), Andrew Young says John Edwards possibly maybe sort of could have slept with lots of other women. Hear that Silvio – could? What a bunch of losers. All men in power could sleep with lots of women but it’s only the champions who do. Right, Silvio?

Jon Venables Revealed As Destroyed Ed Balls Says Denise Fergus Is Wrong
JON Venables & James Bulger: TREADING where Justice Secretary Jack Straw may not have put his beautifully formed toes, UK Schools Minister Ed Balls has entered the Jon Venables-child killer criminal responsibility ring.
Note: This is mawkish Ed who tapped into the Baby P Mourn Porn by telling us that “as a dad”…:
“I have to separate the emotion I feel as a father from my job as Secretary of State… Nothing I can do next week can being back Baby P or take away the suffering he endured.”
As Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel puts it:
“You never want a serious crisis to go to waste…”
Balls defied Parliament to appoint Dr Margaret Atkinson as Child Commissioner and yesterday had to go in to bat for her after a huge political gaffe.
The Minister responsible for Education in England and Wales made matters that much worse and yesterday said, the then ten-year-old, Venables and joint killer Robert Thompson were not “intrinsically evil”
That let the Tories straight back into the political fight and David Davies, above, Conservative MP for Monmouth, told the Daily Express:
“His comments are as astonishing as they are offensive.
“Evil is the only way to describe the murderers of James Bulger.”
Balls, who made the same stupid fumble as Jack Straw by calling the victim’s mother by the wrong name, had been directly contradicting Denis Fergus, 42, the mum of murdered two-year-old James Bulger.
She has already called for the dismissal of the newly-appointed Children’s Commissioner Margaret Atkinson who for some unknown and what can only be described as insensitive or bizarre reason announced via The Times at the weekend the age for criminal responsibility should be lifted from ten to 12 and Venables and Thompson should NOT have been prosecuted.
Ed Balls said Jon Venables and Robert Thompson were victims of an abusive upbringing.

Deep Tongue: Rielle Hunter And John Edwards’ Private Video Revealed
REMEMER when hairy John Edwards was going to be President of the USA, and then it all came out because of the Natiaonl Enquier – and not the LA Times – that he’d been canvassing Reille Hunter behind his wife’s back and sired a child by her?
A website – The Daily Beast – has gone public with some, allegedly, eyewitness accounts of the “private” videotape of Rielle Hunter and John Edwards.
They’ve also sought at least one professional opinion as to the production time frame of the video.
Brace yourself for the play-by-play.

In Pictures: Kim Jong Il Visits London, New York And Photoshop
KIM Jong Il is Anorak’s Man of The Century, this had and the last. Times change, new fabrics come into fashion, but Kim Jong Il sticks with his anorak in reassuring hearing-aide beige. Sometimes it appears as if Mr Kim has not even moved, let alone changed from one officially released portrait to the next. It’s not Photoshop – it’s stoicism. To celebrate Kim’s achievements, Anorak has compiled a gallery of his finest moments. The leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea illustrated: Where’s Kim – a study of a man in stills.

When Gordon Brown Met Nicolas Sarkozy It Was Love: A Romance in Pictures
PRIME Minister Gordon Brown greeted French President Nicolas Sarkozy in a desperate show of bonhomie and love and many are wondering if The Great Clunking Fist is the other man? The talk was of “harmony” of being “bang in the middle” and work “more closely than ever”. When we heard that Sarkozy may be romancing someone other than his wife Carla Bruni, we wondered who it could be. Then we saw this photo gallery. And the wondering turned to a silent and sickly awe…

Labour MPs Devine, Morley And Chaytor Plead Innocence Court: Pictures
TO Westminster Magistrates’ Court the alleged troughers came – Jim Devine MP, David Chaytor MP, Elliot Morley MP and Conservative peer Lord Hanningfield – all accused of theft by false accounting under the Theft Act. Devine, Morley and Chaytor please not guilty. They will be tried on March 30 at Southwark Crown Court. They tried to plead parliamentary privilege. Which is ironic. Then everyone went weee-weeee-weee- all the way to the Home of democracy…

David Cameron Cuddles Up To Brussels – He Prefers Gardening To Football
OLD Cammety Cams the PR man did an interview on the Alan Titchmarsh Show on ITV yesterday where he finally came clean. Unlike Raith Rovers obsessed Gordon Brown, Dave admitted that in spite of a mild flirtation with Aston Villa when it comes down to it he prefers hanging out with veggies (no jokes about the shadow cabinet please) than watching ballet for the masses.
So should footy fans be worried that the possible PM isn’t really on their team. On one level no. Then again the last Tory PM who didn’t like football consistently gave fans a good kicking with planned identity cards, wire terraces etc. I think football has a few rocky years ahead, mainly due to the way the clubs are run financially, and the last thing we need is people with little understanding of the game meddling with it.

Boris Johnson’s Rhythm Of London Busking Underground Show 2010
LONDON Mayor Boris Johnson kicked off the Rhythm of London Busking Underground competition by playing a guitar at London Bridge station. Boris looked the part as he shambled up in his anorak with the whiff of last night’s Balti about him. The shaggy hair and look of man who has now gone round the Circle Line twice but keeps forgetting where he’s going put the tin lid on the authentic look of Tube dweller.

Geert Wilders On The BBC: Video And Pictures
GEERT Wilders is making waves in more than his hair. The politician with designs on Hollywood was on the BBC saying that will will ban the Koran in Holland should he made the country’s Prime Minister.
If you want to make a book popular, then ban it. Maybe. Gerry Adam’s voice was once banned on the BBC. Did the ban make it grow louder? Geert wants to stop immigration from Mulsim countries. Geert-cha!
He spots the massive elephant trap on a question on fascist parties in Europe:

Gordon Brown Joins Anorak’s ‘No Poppy Day’ Appeal As He Tours Afghanistan, In Pictures
IT would never be easy to top those pictures of David Cameron meeting the lads in Afghanistan. But how Gordon Brown tried. He’s been there before of course, performing an impression of Benny Hill at a BMX meet. But still Cameron leads the way, this picture showing Dave picking his way through the imaginary tulips.
As for the politics, Anorak has long championed No Poppy Day, when donors will only wear the central black button and plastic stem of old-style commemorative poppies.

When Geert Wilders Came To London: Pictures
DID you go to support or fight Geer Wilders when he came to London (read all the views)? Did you do as most do and just let him get on with it – it’s free speech and so long as your life is not made worse, what the matter? Did you cover your face with a scarf and a hat and say the burka should be banned? Did you talk softly and cary a big placard? Did you see the pictures of London today? Politics matters.

Geert Wilders: Muslims ‘Burning In Hell’ And All Other Moderate Views
GEERT Wilders is in London. He’s in Westminster showing his anti-Islamic film, Fitna, at the House of Lords. Wilders is the Dutch far-right politician with designs on Hollywood. Anti-racism protesters arrive to scream that intolerance will not be tolerated. Members of the English Defence League scream that the English way of life – liberty, freedom and democracy – is under threat and anyone who says it isn’t can **** off. Wilders says Islam and democracy are “incompatible“.
Everyone has an opinion. Here is the pick of the best, and worst:
* Because unlike many opponents of mass immigration, he’s not a fascist or a racist – the British establishment would love Wilders to reveal himself to be another Nick Griffin or Jorg Haider, someone with lots of skeletons dressed in SS uniform in his closet, but he’s not. He’s just a normal mainstream conservative who sees, like many others, that the liberal establishment suffers from sort of groupthink madness when it comes to the subject of immigration.
As he said this week: “We’re going to take the Netherlands back from the leftist elite that coddles criminals and supports Islamisation.” Now if only David Cameron had said that last Sunday… – Ed West, Daily Telegraph

Fags Are Out To Kill Barack Obama
IT’S been a while since we updated our eye on the Barack Obama Death Cult – the media story of the US President’s demise. We are indebted to AGW in the Forums for telling us that Obama has days to live before the fags get him.
Navy Capt. Jeffrey Kuhlman says Obama should “continue smoking cessation efforts”.
Can the smoking do for him?
This time total cholesterol was up to 209, with HDL down slightly at 62. LDL was up to 138. Borderline high cholesterol starts at 200, with LDL considered in the same category at 130.
Also, he has tendinitis in his left leg. As for the smoking, says AGW:

The BNP’s Nick Griffin And The AmRe White Supremacist Conference
THE BNP is the friendly party that lets anyone join. Yep, even those non “indigenous people” who came her from Rome, Germany, Africa and places even more remote than Leicester. A reader in the US writes:
Hey, did you know the BNP (griffin and others) were still coming over speaking?
We do now. The Southern Poverty Law Centre reports:
White National Event Canceled Yet Again
After being jilted by yet another hotel, the white nationalist American Renaissance conference was cancelled again last week — this time, for good. The conference, scheduled for Feb. 19-21, had been held biannually since 1994 and featured prominent academic racists, far-right politicians and other extremists from around the world. Over the past several months, however, anti-racists persuaded four Washington D.C.-area hotels to drop the conference, infuriating American Renaissance leader Jared Taylor…
According to Taylor, more than 250 people had paid $135 (excluding hotel and banquet costs) to attend the three-day conference. This year’s event featured 10 speakers, including British National Party chairman Nick Griffin and racist filmmaker Craig Bodeker.

David Paterson: Harlem’s Great Black And Proud Hope Felled And Racists Take New York
WHEN New York State Governor David Paterson walked into the waiting ambush, there were those who saw it coming and knew the bear trap had been laid by Paterson himself, writes AGW.
Strangely, he seemed to have forgotten or ignored the fact it was there.
The unrepentant Proudly Black and Fiercely Blind Paterson did not apologise for either his behaviour or his attempts to squirm away from the real and present danger which the New York Times had very clearly signalled was waiting in the wings.
The NY Times had made it obvious there was a majority opinion he was not the chosen one and should not press ahead with a candidature for re-election as Governor of New York State.
It was pointed out this week, in here, without journalists’ vigilant digging, goading and prodding, many of the freedoms you carelessly accept as a right, would not exist.
There is now no doubt New York’s finest News Room had the dirt signed sealed and delivered. Already written, proof-read and ready to publish.

New York Times Blows David Paterson To Pieces
GOVERNOR David Paterson of New York State this evening quit the election race for his job and any hope of future progress in the Democratic hierarchy, writes AGW.
He had to go because he was blind. He happens to be legally blind but he had to go because he failed to see what was coming.
The Story Of David Paterson’s Fall, Michelle Paterson’s Sex And The Feds
Three weeks ago New York’s bloggersphere was buzzing with the whisper The New York Times had a story which was dynamite for the Governor’s chances of re-election.
