Would you eat a burger if you needed ID for it? The Atomic Fallout Pizza burger is here
BURGER eaters are having to show ID before they can eat a patty. How about that? Now, before you start thinking that this is some awful, awful Jamie Oliver stunt for healthy eating, it is quite the opposite. The ID is part of a disclaimer because this burger is so unbelievably spicy.

When John Lydon appeared on Judge Judy
BEFORE eating kangaroo anus on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, chewing off politicos on Question Time and smacking his cops at butter, John Lyndon appeared on Judge Judy. It was October 1997 when Lydon appeared before the TV Beak known in her lounge as Judy Sheindlin. Robert Williams was suing the former Sex Pistol and Public Image Ltd frontman for breach of contract and assault and battery.
Virgin Records produced a press release in defence of their act:
Williams filed criminal battery charges against Lydon. The charges were immediately dismissed when police investigators determined that Williams’ case was completely unfounded. A subsequent civil suit was filed by Williams in small claims court claiming damages of $5,000 in lost wages and “civil battery.”
Upon learning of the ongoing dispute between Lydon and Williams, the staff of “Judge Judy” recently approached Lydon’s representatives and offered to adjudicate. When Gardner called Lydon to inform him of Judge Judy’s offer, Lydon accepted immediately, exclaiming, “I love this country!”

Qatar produces hots air on climate change as China burns ahead
HAVING flown into the Climate Talks in Qatar, a deal looks unlikely. The latest data on carbon dioxide emissions leads to the BBC story “Carbon emissions are ‘too high’ to curb climate change“. The Times sums up:
Of the planet’s top 10 polluters, the United States and Germany were the only countries that reduced their carbon dioxide emissions.
Last year, all the world’s nations combined pumped nearly 38.2 billion tons of carbon dioxide into the air from the burning of fossil fuels such as coal and oil, according to new international calculations on global emissions published today in the journal Nature Climate Change.
That’s about a billion tonnes more than the previous year.
The total amounts to more than 2.4 million pounds (1.1 million kilograms) of carbon dioxide released into the air every second.

Watch, as a man wins $588m
WINNING the lottery is something most of us have idly dreamed of at some point, but imagine for a second if it actually came true AND the moment you found out was captured on film.
Most of us would run wildly around, defecating and sobbing into strangers bosoms. One man in America could barely conceal his delight in Maryland when he found out he’d scooped the $588m Powerball jackpot!

They are, however, embracing technology, so it won’t be long ’til we see The Pope throwing out his red Papal shoes and investing in some Dalai Lama Air Max or something.

Belgium unveils its anti-Christian austerity Christmas Tree
TO Belgium where the Austerity Tree is on show. The abstract light installation replaces the traditional Christmas tree at the Grand Place in Brussels. Traditionally, a 20m (65ft) pine tree from the forests of the Ardennes decorates the city’s central square, the Grand Place. This year, it has been replaced with a 25m (82ft) construction. The other tree has been used to print Greek currency…
The tree is not universally popular. Bianca Debaets, a city councilor from the Christian Democrat and Flemish Party, says:
“What next? Will Easter eggs be banned from the city because they make us think of Easter?”
Erik Maxwell, from Brussels, told BBC News:
“We think the tree has been put up for cultural reasons. A tree is for Christmas and Christians but now there are a lot of Muslims here in Brussels. So to avoid discussions they have just replaced a tree with a couple of cubes! I am more traditional, I prefer the usual tree. That’s better for the Belgian people.”
Christmas trees invented in Germany are better for Belgians? What’s it to be, then, Muslims or Germans for Christmas? People of Belgium… Vote now!
