Man Kills Hunting Partner For Eating Dog Killed By Monkey
THE Phnom Penh Post has news of the man who at his friend’s dog after it was killed by a monkey has been shot dead by the dog’s owner. In Vietnam:
A 25-YEAR-OLD man who ate his hunting partner’s dog after it was killed in a monkey attack was shot dead by the canine’s owner with a crossbow last Tuesday. Police said the suspect and the victim were friends who were hunting together in Kratie’s Snuol district. It is understood the suspect shot his friend because he would not help save his dog from being killed in a monkey attack. The victim then took the dead dog home to eat. When the suspect saw this, he fired his crossbow at his friend killing him instantly. Police say the suspect confessed to the crime following his arrest.

Craig Williams Drives A Vauxhall Frontera Up Mount Snowdon (You Might Try The Land Rover)
CRAIG Williams attempted to drive to the top of Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales . He failed, stopping 400 yards short of the summit. Says the driver of a Vauxhall Frontera:
“There’s no plan of action as we speak, there wasn’t to begin with. Out of a list of 50 things to do before you die, this was one of them. If you think that was on top of the list, the other 49 are now not going to be done.”

Brother And Sister Caught Having Sex In Motherwell Station
RICHARD Finlayson, 21, and his sister Kirsty, 18, of Lesmahagow, were caught having sex in the lift at Motherwell Station. Twice.
Their intercourse was captured on CCTV cameras. After the second bout of incest Richard hands Kirsty a £20 note.
All the while an 11-year-old boy who was with the siblings waits for them on the platform.
At Hamilton Sheriff Court, Kirsty says Richard gave her the cash “as a brother, not for payment“.

Northamptonshire Man Kills Wife In Row Over Mashed Potato
FOLLOWING a row over mashed potato, Colin Adlard, 61, beat his wife, 59, to death with a lump hammer.
It was 5.30am on January 7, 2011, in a bungalow in Yardley Hastings, Northamptonshire. It is the morning after the mashed potato debacle. Adlard strikes his wife. He then calls the police.

127 Hours Sequel: Trapped John Hutt Cuts Off All His Toes
THE sequel to 127 Hours is in the pipeline. It stars semi-retired logger John Hutt, 61. While working alone in the remote San Miguel County the morning of Aug. 19, his foot became caught in six tons of machinery.
He picked up his penknife (3 inches – Trapper Old Timer pocketknife) and cut off all his toes.
He then drove to a parking lot near the Ridgway Dam and awaited the ambulance that would take him to the Montrose Memorial Hospital.

ASHELY McDowell, 22, bought an iPad that turned out to be a “piece of wood painted black with an Apple logo”. The South Carolina woman purchased the iPlank off two black males selling the gadgets for $300 apiece in a McDonald’s parking lot. One of the men had a gold tooth.

X-Ray Photo Of Man Impaled On Shears While Gardening
X-RAY of the day features the head of Leroy Luetscher, a man of 86 years who while gardening in Arizona became impaled on a pair of pruning shears, or secateurs, as the best people call them.
He dropped them. They landed points up. He bent down to pick them up. He tumbled over. And…the handles went into his eye. The blades went through his eye socket and into his neck.

False Leg Makers Rejoice As GS4 Staff Tag Villain’s Prosthetic Limb
IN what is being seen as a triumph for the false limb industry, two G4S staff placed an electronic tag on a felon’s false leg believing it was real.
Admittedly, Christopher Lowcock, 29, did swaddle his prosthetic limb in a bandage is readiness for the G4S workers’ arrival at his home in Rochdale. But that has more to do with his guile, criminal mind (is he a product of nominative determinism – or wishes to be?) and a lack of confidence in his false leg. His other leg is made of flesh and bone.

Crash Survivor Killed By Drunk Driver On Pilgrimage To Virgin Of Miracles
SYMPATHIES are with the Spanish man killed by a drunk driver north of Ordes. The victim and his two aunts- also killed in he accident – were on a pilgrimage to thank the “Virgin of Miracles” for his survival in a road crash.
Says a spokesman for the Ordes mayor:
“He survived a road accident last year and they were going to thank the ‘Virgin of Miracles’ of Caion. He did not even manage to walk one kilometre and was still in Ordes.”

SEE that photo of a huge frog? A Chinese man says he found the massive frog in Gemencheh, Malaysia. The frog had been captured by an Orang Asli indigenous tribesman hunting by a river.
Where is the giant frog now? Answer: inside the tribesman and his tribe. They ate it. Well, so goes the giant frog story.
You see, the Chinese frog enthusiast offered to buy the beast for 500 Malaysian Ribbit, sorry, Ringgit (£100) but the simple Orang Asli warrior wanted RM1,000. So. While the Chinaman and his pal went to fetch more cash, the shrewd tribal warrior ate the frog.

Natural History Museum Replaces Exhibits With Fakes: Rhino Horn Thieves And Visitors Duped
THE thieves who made to steal rhino horns from the Natural History Museum at Tring, in Hertfordshire. will be disappointed. They are fakes. Aware of the price of rhino horns and of a spate of similar crimes across Europe, the museum’s staff had replaced the real horns with resin fakes.
Says Paul Kitching, manager of the Natural History Museum at Tring:
“The rhinoceros horns that have been stolen were replicas made out of resin, so they have no commercial value. We’re now working with the police and urge anyone with any pertinent information to get in touch.”

Video: Toddlers Steal From Liverpool Newsagents As Mum Directs Caper
THERE are small, youthful thieves in Liverpool.
Sammi Mohammed runs a newagents in the city. He has produced CCTV video of a very young boy and girl stealing from him. The video shows them nicking a big can of Red Bull.
Their mother is outside waiting. Mohammed says she is encouraging them.
Says he:
“I just fear for the future for those kids if they grow up thinking that is OK, that is a normal thing to do.”
