Disneyland’s Thunder Mountain Roller Coaster Made Harwich Man Steal From Royal Mail
GEORGE Ramplin, 43, tells the Beak at Chelmsford Crown Court that he turned to stealing parcels becase of an episode on the Disneyland roller coaster Thunder Mountain in August 2010.
Ramplin says the ride sparked flashbacks of an accident that had befallen him when he was 10. He had been in a minibus that crashed in May 1978. Seven children and one adult died. He was badly injured.

Fagilyu Mukhametzyanov Dies At Her Own Funeral (Photos)
FAGILYU Mukhametzyanov, 49, was not dead at her funeral in Kazan, Russia. She woke to the sound of prayers and weeping. She had not died from a heart attack. Medics had made a mistake. Mrs Mukhametzyanov was merely resting. Says her husband, Fagili Mukhametzyanov:
“Her eyes fluttered and we immediately rushed her back to the hospital but she only lived for another 12 minutes.”

“The bartender related that the male had entered the bar and began yelling at people and had struck one other patron with his closed fist. A small fight then began and the fight ended when the bartender struck the male subject with a baseball bat.”

SURYIA is an orangutan whose best pal is a Blue Tick hound named Roscoe. (You just know who the brains are in the outfit.)
They met at South Carolina preserve for endangered animals – The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species (TIGERS) in Myrtle Beach home. (Yep, TIGERS – you just know Suryia thought that up. Roscoe wants to call if WOOF – World Of Orange Friends.)

Kendal Thief Wears Stolen Jacket To Court In Kendal
DID Stephen Kirkbride steal a £125 jacket from Kendal’s Sports Direct shop? Shop staff say he did. They say Kirbride is wearing the item, a Craghopper waterproof , at South Lakeland Magistrates’ Court, Kendal.
Kirkbride’s defence solicitor Judith Birkett snots. She says he charge “wouldn’t be so stupid” to wear stolen merchandise to court. That’s the jacket with the tear marks where the security tags have bee ripped off.

Drunk Captain Drove Rescued Sailors Around In Circles For Hours And Hours
TO South Florida, where Timothy Pooler, 63, of Boynton Beach, has rescued two men whose boat had broken down about 25 miles off Delray Beach on Thursday evening. The men had been adrift for around four hours when Pooler arrived to save the day. He hooked up their boat to his and began to tow them. And tow them. And tow them. In circles. Throughout the night. In circles.
When Pooler’s boat ran out of gas, the two men provided fuel from their own boat. The men then got their boat to work and began to tow Pooler, whose boat ran out of fuel again. They then cut Pooler loose.

Guy Fowlkes Arrested For Letting Off Fireworks
GUY Fowlkes, 33, of Orlando, Florida, has been arrested for setting off explosive devices at the fireworks stand where he worked.
The story goes that while manning the fireworks stall, Guy Fowlkes got into a row with his pregnant lover and hit her. He then let off a load of fireworks and stuffed two firecrackers into the petrol tank of a car.

Pub Landlord Told To Leave Welsh Pub For Asking Gun-Toting Man To Speak English
REGULARS at the Royal Oak in Penrhyndeudraeth, near Porthmadog in Gwynedd, Wales, are ordering their drinks in Welsh. they say things like ‘I’ll have a Malibu and Cocacocogh”.
It’s just the way things are done in those parts. And it still is because when the new management requested that patrons order their fizzy drinks in English. a local man pulled a gun and cochcochcochcocked it. He was arrested, and the old management team has been brought back.

Woman Has Huge Tumour Removed From Face (Photo)
HAVING heard that Cheryl Cole is alright – phew! – our thoughts turn to Tshey, a 21-year-old Ethiopian with a 10-inceh wide tumour on her face.
But now some of her pain has been lessened by surgeon Peter Cornelius from Bamberg, Germany, and his team. He tells us:
“The operation to remove the tumour took three hours. It was complicated as so much of the lower face was disfigured by it. Only then were we able to reconstruct her face.”

Pilgrims Try To Drive On Water To Lindisfarne: Can They Make It To Holy Island?
TOURISTS and pilgrims are trying to drive on water from the Northumberland mainland to Holy Island, also known as Lindisfarne. Not all of them make it. Indeed, to date, no car has managed to drive on the water at hide tide.
Ian Clayton, from the RNLI Seahouses station, says:
“It’s incredible that people seem to think they can drive their cars into the North Sea.”

Telford Granny Gives Reward To Thief Who Stole Her Purse
WHO is the 61-year-old Telford grandmother who was pushing her bicycle on Lawton Farm Way in Leegomery last Wednesday? Who was the woman who when her purse was stolen from the bike’s pannier gave chase?“I just saw my bag being whipped from my bike basket and I just ran after the person with it. I was determined I wasn’t going to give up. For some reason he just stopped and I managed to catch up with him. He kept on saying how sorry he was and said he needed a tenner because he was homeless and hungry. I told him to give me my bag back and that I would give him some money. He did so and I gave him £10 and he walked off.”

Nguyen Duy Hai Has A 186lb Tumour On His Leg
MR Nguyen Duy Hai has a 186lb (80kg) tumour. The 31-year-old Vietnamese suffers form a massive tumour growing on his right leg. The rest of the limb was amputation at the knee 14 years ago. But the tumour persists. Says he:
“I can’t do anything, I can only sit and lie down.”
