Mr Penman Banned From Library For Having Smelly Feet
STUART Penman, 27, has been banned from Wigston Library, Leicestershire, on account of his smell. It is not a favourable smell. Mr Penman – as in Mr Pen and Ink Man – has now been banned from the building for six months.
Says he:
“I went in there on Monday with my wife and they told me I was barred because of my feet.”
Is he barefoot in the library?

Prisoner Loses Five-Inch Blade Up Anus
TO Merced County Main Jail, where Rance Johnson is having a five-inch long homemade knife surgically removed from his interior.
This plastic knife weapon was removed as Johnson underwent surgery at hospital in…Modesto. Really.
The story goes that 19-year-old Rance Johnson walked gingerly over to screws complaining of a pain in his backside. The plastic blade had been lodged in his rectum for three weeks.

Jesus Appears On An Egg Shell In Texas
NO one besides Osama bin Laden’s wife ever sees the real Santa Claus, but Jesus is everywhere. In Burleson, grandly billed as a “city, 13 miles south of Fort Worth” a Christian god has appeared on the top of a hen’s egg.
While angels dance on a pin head, Jesus is manifest in the chicken shed at Tracy and Pam Norrell’s farm. The Norell’s tells the media that the egg was laid “straight from heaven”. Bur-burck:
“This time of the year, we get so taken up with the presents and money and we forget about the reason. I think he [God] was just telling us he is the reason for the season.”

Gazing At The Virgin Mary Of Knock Can Turn You Blind
SO bright is the light of the Virgin Mary at the shine of Knock in County Mayo that pilgrims are at the risk of going blind.
The pilgrims have seen the sun “dancing in the sky“. If you stare long enough you can see colours. If you stare at the Virgin long enough some say your hands become covered in a thick pelt. So they say.

Britain’s Worst Christmas Tree, Country Durham Entry
ANORAK’S search for the country’s saddest Christmas Tree takes us from Poole to Sacriston’s Christmas Tree on display in the County Durham village. The parish council defended its lowly Christmas tree which has been branded the worst in the country. A living tree was planted in the middle of the County Durham village of Sacriston last month, with the intention that it would grow bigger over the years and provide an annual focal point for the festivities. But the recent storms ripped around 2ft off its tip, leaving some villagers disappointed at its less than impressive dimensions.

Italian Police Crash Lamborghini And Make Roads Safer
THE Italian police operate a patrol car. Well, they did. They now operate a tow-truck on which a broken Lamborghinis car sits.
The car was meant to track down speeding motorists. The car can reach over 200mph. A crack team of drivers will bear down on speedsters can nab them.
Nothing can stop them. Unless that motorist in his Seat Ibiza travelling at around 4mph doesn’t look when pulling out of the petrol station in Cremona and… Bammo!

HEY, kids Santa’s just been burnt in Santa Catarina, Southern Brazil. Santa, as you know is 46-feet tall and full of wind. He’s also most probably made in China. Warsaw Zoo Hires Humans To Pretend To Be Animals
WARSAW Zoo has installed a human exhibit, featuring two “prehistoric” people in a cage. This is what happens when all the animals are killed for pet food and gloves.
The eighteen year old girl and twenty four year old man will “help visitors learn about the lifestyle of people from prehistoric times”.
Because no CCTV footage of those times still exists – Betamax never caught on – the couple can pretty much make it up as they go along. The couple are aid to pass their days “picking fleas, keeping fire in the fireplace and observing people who walk in front of their dwellings”.

Woman Crushed By Fake Christmas Tree
AFTER the fake Christmas tree of Poole, news of a 78-year-old German woman crushed by an artificial tree in a Hamburg shopping mall.
The woman is in hospital. She’s lucky to be alive. The 220-pound tree fell on her when its three steel support cables broke.

Poole Replaces Christmas With A Recyled Jesus And Fake Tree
IN Poole, Dorset, Christmas comes in the shape of a 33-ft tall cone painted green and festooned with little lights to make it look like a Christmas tree. Speakers are hidden in the foliage. It’s yours for £14,000.
The town’s usual Norway fir tree has been replaced amid concerns that it will fall over in high winds. Anorak’s resident Al Gorean agrees. If a tree can be saved from being chopped down then so much the better. It’s what the Baby Jesus, the great recycler who rose again, would have wanted – and he slept in a barn, although that wooden cross set a poor example.

Man Stockpiles 80 Oil Drums Of Human Poo
PETER Roy, 72, from Madderty, Craigmuir, has collected 80 barrels of human excreta and urine in oil drums at his farm. No damning artwork to highlight the world’s love of oil, rather an attempt to get officials from Perth and Kinross Council to repair his “inhabitable” house.
Such is the irony that Mr Roy wanted to show how bad his house had become to live in by populating it with barrels of his family’s waste.

Dundee Woman Accused Of Ripping Out Lover’s Testes With Her Bare Hands
HELEN Hodge, described in court as “jealous” allegedly ripped out her boyfriend Billy Duncan’s testes with her bare hands. Mr Duncan is the father to her young child.
The incident is said to have occurred at Mr Duncan’s flat, as the man was celebrating Dundee’s victory over Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Challenge Cup final. A source tells us:
“Helen started accusing him of carrying on with other women. He just wanted to sleep though so she started hitting him around the head and face. He told her to quit it and demanded she get out the flat.”

Man’s Face Pinned By Pitchfork To A Car Seat
IN China, Kong Xie is pinned to his seat by a pitchfork which has pierced his face.
The reports say that the fork had been “hurled by mistake” by a market worker at farmer’s market in Suzhou, eastern China, who was “aiming for some hay bales”.
That’s his story and he is sticking to it. Meanwhile, Mr Xie is stuck to his seat. The good news is that Mr Xie was rescued and suffered no ill effects. The fork missed his brain and eyes.

Dietmar The German Stork Has A Wooden Leg
DIETMAR is the world’s first stork to feature a wooden leg.
Dietmar Stork lost his leg in a collision with a slow moving power cable. He was taken to a bird sanctuary in Saxony, Germany, and fitted with a £1,000 prosthetic limb. A worker there tells us:
“He gets on very well in the sanctuary with his new leg but he can’t live in the wild any more so he’s here with us for the rest of his days.”

Swiss Man Escapes To Europe On Electronic Wing
YVES Rossy, aka the Swiss ‘Jetman’, has failed in his mission to fly solo across the Strait of Gibraltar using a single jet-propelled wing.
Africans looking for a better life in Europe will have to stick to the tried and tested method of trying themselves to empty petrol cans and hoping for a favourable current.
In 2008, Rossy, crossed the channel. The preferred method is to make the crossing in the back of a truck labelled “Cleaning Equipment”. But Rossy did it by air.

Church Gives Soul Tattoos To Worshippers
WORSHIPPERS at the Gold Creek Community Church in Mill Creek, Washington, get a tattoo from the in-God’s-house artist. The Rev. Dan Kellogg offers guidance to the tattoo inclined:
“The one you don’t want to put on yourself is the ‘666’ right?”
“Hell no!” says the congregation with one true voice. “We’ve already got one of those on our heads. We want a new one, something in Japanese, a blue bird or a big zig-zag of a picture of Jesus sat on Michael Jackson’s shoulders.”

Bolivian Police Release Video Of World’s Worst Photo-Fit Killers’ Capture
BOLIVIAN police have used the photofits of Maxine Carr and former Arsenal and Crystal Palace wing wizard Eddie McGoldrick to capture two suspects after accused of killing Rafael Vargas, a taxi driver from the city of Santa Cruz.
A witness created this sketch of a man she said killed Vargas and set fire to the corpse. The likeness to both men was uncanny. This from our South American news man:

In Pictures: Coma Victim Rom Houben’s Life
ROM Houben lay in a hospital for 23 years. People thought he was in a coma after a car accident in 1983. Three years ago Doctor Steven Laureys discovered Rom was not in a coma and was in fact conscious.
Mr Houben is now writing his memoirs with the aid of an electronic keyboard:
“I screamed, but there was nothing to hear. I dreamed myself away. All that time I just literally dreamed of a better life. Frustration is too small a word to describe what I felt.”
Also, unless Dr ***** gives me £3m in gold by noon tomorrow Mr Houben will tell everyone what I heard him confess to in July 1998. And then there is the case of Nurse Liege, whom should pray for forgiveness for leaving BBC News 24 on for the past five years on my hospital telly…”

Her Majesty The Queen Wears T-Shirt On Offical Christmas Card
CATHERINE Masters is 110. For the past 10 birthdays he has received a card from the Queen. And each time the picture on the card is of her Majesty wearing the same yellow dress.
Masters, of Stanford-in-the-vale, wrote to the Queen to complain. Prince William popped over to apologise and say that Her Majesty only has one outfit and that the card can only really change when granny dies.
Would Her Majesty be forced to pick up a large red crayon and redesign her outfit? At the eleventh hour, our Queen was able to borrow a dress as worn by her late mother, and having posed for a photo she stuck it to the card with her own spittle.
