Overtaking In Russia’s Aqua Cars
TRAFFIC can be murder in Russia. In this still, the hero in the white car decides that he is too good to queue and will overtake by motoring along the pedestrians lane.
It is for reasons such as this you never see Russians adults below 4ft 9inches tall, apart from Vladimir Putin, obviously…

Worldest Oldest Marijuana Stash And Pizza Slice Found In China
A 2,700-year-old grave found in the Gobi Desert near Turpan, China holds the world’s oldest marijuana stash! The grave belonged to a blue-eyed Caucasian, long-haired man buried with a number of valuable items, including a copy of Neil Young’s After The Gold Rush, a bottle of orange juice (empty) and sweet wrappers (various).
Scientists originally thought the plant material in the grave was coriander, but microscopic botanical analysis of the bowl contents, along with genetic testing, revealed that it was cannabis.

Boffins prove that hip hop artists are big on butts
Well, butts of any size, really. And bums, and booty. But they’re not so keen on clitoris. This, at least, is the implication from some truly groundbreaking research published online at a site called Fleshmap.
It’s analysed thousands of song lyrics to find how often specific body parts are mentioned, producing visual charts for each. So in the case of hip-hop, “ass” is in 23.64% of songs, followed by “head” (22.81%), “hand” (21.79%) and “eye” (19.3%). Clitoris is only in 0.18% of songs, although that may be due to rhyming difficulties rather than ignorance of basic female biology. Possibly.
How about alternative music? It’s all about the eyes (12.42%), followed by hands (10.22%) and heads (7.72%). Ass comes low down the list with 1.48%, although that’s better than in the gospel genre, where only 0.62% of songs mention it. Actually, that’s higher than we would’ve guessed…

Irish Judge Stops Drink Drive Trial For Urine Steam Inhalation
JUDGE James O’Connor’s is presiding at Killorglin District Court in Kerry, Ireland.
Judge O’Connor hears defence submissions that inhalation of urine fumes could have affected breath-test results.
Solicitor Mr O’Connell argues that during the 20-minute period when the defendant must be observed by a garda at the police station before his breath sample is taken – and forbidden from eating or drinking anything – both his clients had used a toilet to urinate.

Slavery Is Not So Bad
SLAVERY is not bad. It’s not wrong. The Bible says it isn’t bad. So it can’t be bad…
This is an issue I feel I have to address for many reasons. One thing that I have learnt in my 2 and half years as a born again Christian is that God is sovereign. In addition to that He does not need or want human advocates. With the issue of Slavery Christians are often put in a corner because they are trying to defend God and at the same time the bible nowhere directly attacks slavery.
Quick check…
The bible does not condemn slavery. So Christians try to act like Job’s friends and try to defend God in a rather foolish way by condemning slavery, as if God forgot to do it Himself in the bible. I think this is a very unwise thing for a Christian to do because if slavery was wrong, God would have said so himself. But He doesn’t say its wrong.
I understand that there is so much evil in slavery, when masters abuse their slaves. That is wrong. The bible condemns treating others in an evil way. So this is not the issue. But slavery in itself is not wrong. Just as husbands can abuse wives, does it mean marriage is evil? Or parents can abuse their children, does it mean parenting is wrong? Because masters can be evil to their slaves, it doesn’t mean that slavery is wrong. Just as wives are to be submissive to their husbands, likewise slaves are to be submissive to their masters.
So says a black woman…

Trashing Dorset’s Lapland Theme Park
A NEW “winter wonderland” Lapland-style theme park is called a “joke” and “a scam”.
Many people have demanded a refund of the £25 they paid to enter the Lapland New Forest, at Matchams Leisure Park on the Hampshire-Dorset border.
Anorak has visited the venue. It’s dire, depressing and the food tastes like Rudolph’s already passed it. The best bit is that quote from “organiser” Henry Mears, who blames the poor reaction on troublemakers. Says he:
“Like all people they like to get into queues and just generate a bit of aggravation.”

Russians Eat Cats, Rats And Rock Sandwiches
JASON Kottke has a list of recipes from Leningrad during the Nazi seige:
Soup from pets and domesticated animals
Meat is ranked by taste in the following order: dog, guinea pig, cat, rat. Gut the carcass, wash well and place in cold water. Add salt. Cook for one to three hours. For aroma: bay leaf, pepper, any sort of herbs, and, if available, grain.
Things in Russia are very different now. Now they have bread and fillings.

Sadistic Police Give Freezing Cold Drunk Women Flip-Flops
IN Devon women are being handed flip-flops by police in large black boots. It’s a woman’s right to shoes, says the Mail:
Drunk women who stagger about in high heels are to be protected – at public expense – from twisting their ankles. They will be handed flip-flops to wear by police outside nightclubs as they wend their way home. The scheme is part of a £30,000 drive by police and councillors to prevent ‘alcohol-related harm’.
It’s sub-zero in Devon. And the local police – sadists – are giving girls in miniskirts flip flops.
