Three Eagles Fighting Over A Fish

This is a shot of three eagles fighting over a fish in Homer, Alaska, from March 2008. You can see the fish at the top of the image flying by itself, but it was caught in its fall by another eagle.

COUPLES often write into his column, asking for advice about how to have sex while scuba diving. Basically, although popular, scuba sex is not recommended. Potential problems include the inhalation of water droplets in horizontal positions (which can lead to chocking), keeping cumbersome equipment in the vertical position, losing buoyancy control when excited, and being unaware of the increased oxygen consumption required.

Woman Flushes Baby Down Toilet By Accident

CLAIRE Jones is up before the Beak. Jones says she became pregnant after an affair with a work colleague, one Marcus Bezerra. She hid her condition from friends and family.

She tells David Stoneman, her partner of 11 years, that a wheat allergy had caused a hard mass to form in her stomach.

Some time later she is at the parental home of in Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan. It is a week after he due date.

Japanese Man Blames Murders On Pet Dog

TO Japan where Takeshi Koizumi is accused of murdering Takehiko Yamaguchi and his wife Michiko. He is also staid to have stabbed one Yasuko Yoshihara.

It is crime not without potency. Mr. Yamaguchi was a retired vice minister in the health ministry in Japan, and Mrs. Yoshihara’s husband, Kenji, had held the same position.

The motive seems clear: revenge on the politicos.

Come All Ye Faithful: The Madonna of Orgasm Church

“THE orgasm is God, the orgasm should be worshiped,” says Carlos Bebeacua from Lövestad in southern Sweden in the Kvällsposten newspaper.

“The orgasm is the ultimate feeling of lust, it shouldn’t be limited to ejaculation. You can reach it through art or by looking at a landscape and thinking ‘Wow!’”

Henceforth the Madonna of Orgasm Church (Orgasmens Madonnas kyrka). Last week a court ruled it had the right to be registered as a faith community.

You’ll Believe A Fat Canadian Can Fly

IN Canada it just got a lot harder to book an airline ticket. The planes are full – to bursting:

Obese people have the right to two seats for the price of one on flights within Canada, the Supreme Court of Canada ruled on Thursday.

The high court declined to hear an appeal by Canadian airlines of a decision by the Canadian Transportation Agency that people who are “functionally disabled by obesity” deserve to have two seats for one fare.

Man Slashed By Meat Cleaver Necklace

TO Salt Lake City where a man is accused of slashing another man’s face with the meat cleaver he was wearing as a necklace.

In charges filed Monday, police wrote that the man, 22, had called the victim’s girlfriend “bad names” during a fight Nov. 10, and the victim threw his soda on the man.
