In 1981 STASH cologne for men attracted women as well as police and their dogs
DRIVING home I was stopped by the police. One copper leaned in the window and said he could smell marijuana. I told him was mistaken, which he must have been: there was never any weed in the Peugeot, officer. He ordered me from my car and the usual nonsense followed before I was sent on my way. Which all leads to this question: can the smell of marijuana attract member of the opposite sex as well as the police? In 1981, the makers of Stash perfume thought so:

Naked easyJet passenger who challenged captain to a fight tasered at Manchester airport
“HE must have been drunk because when he came off the plane, he took his top off and shouted ‘come on then’ in a Manchester accent and was trying to get the captain to fight him,” Says an eyewitness to events on an easyJet flight arrived at Manchester Airport from Malta. “Then he carried on taking all his clothes off. I have no idea why. The woman he was with gave him a slap for it. He’d had an altercation with other passengers and the captain had come down the plane to calm him down.”

Fear of flying meant boy took 16 months to get from Abu Dhabi to Somerset
JOE Thompson, 12, took 16 months to fly from the Abu Dhabi to his native Weston-super-Mare, in Somerset. No, not a RyanAir booking gone awry. Young Joe became terrified of flying. The Times reports that he was only able to return to the UK after “months of preparation by a hypnotherapist, who accompanied him on the journey home.”
One word: boats.
But we’d be wrong. His father ways he was unable to obtain the visa required for a trip by land and sea. So. Joe had to fly or remain in AbuDhabi forever.
Or maybe take a cruise ship?
But, then, what about another word: drugs. We get no word on them. But they do work.

Grandfather took girl out of Kent school and to the doctor’s without realising he had wrong child
AT what age do all policemen look young? At what age do all children look the same? We ask because a grandfather sent to pick up his granddaughter from Napier Primary School in Gillingham, Kent, went off with the wrong child. And he never did notice.
Staff presented the man with the wrong child, who had the same first name as the right one. She had a doctor’s appointment. So. the man took the six-year-old on a bus to the Gillingham Medical Centre a mile away.
There, she was prescribed liquid paracetamol. He picked up the medicine inside the centre and dropped her back at school in Napier Road.
The girls’ then went home and told her father “here’s my medicine”. Says her father:
“My daughter’s been known to tell a tale or two so I took her to the surgery and the doctor said ‘I saw her this morning with her grandfather’. I went ballistic. I was boiling inside. The first thing I thought was the worst. I had to ask my daughter the sort of questions no parent ever wants to ask, ‘did he do this, did he do that’. When your daughter has been walked round town and taken on a bus by a strange man it makes you sick to the stomach. It’s every parent’s worst nightmare…”
Says her grandfather:
“I couldn’t believe it. Why are they sending someone who can’t even recognise his own granddaughter to pick her up?”
Because the woman he thinks is his wife was busy working behind the bar in EastEnders…

Dinosaur erotica exists: fiction for readers aroused by bad teeth and scaly skin
EXHAUSTED by My Little Pony fan fiction erotica, we’ve moved on to read the Velociraptor’s Nest. Yep. Dinosaur erotica is exists.
Azog stood, back to the wall, clad only in damp buckskins, waiting for the beast to slash at her torso until she lay helpless and bleeding on the damp cave floor. She wondered if it would kill her first, or if her limbs would be sliced from her body as the beast gorged on her.
Instead, it reached out with a classed hand to snatch at her damp animal hide as it clung to one shoulder. Azog felt the kiss of sharp claws against her skin as the hide slid from her shoulder and exposed on naked, heaving breast. The raptor paused, curious, sniffing at her as she pressed desperately against the wall.
A reptilian tongue, stiff and hot, dashed out to lick at the tender, naked flesh so suddenly exposed. Azog gasped at the touch, then gradually relaxed as her body warmed to the intoxicating sensation of the beast’s flesh against her own.
She wasn’t sure if her sudden arousal was because of her earlier thwarted climax in the cool stream, or if she was just desperate for one last pleasant sensation before being torn limb from limb by the great, scaly beast. Either way, Azog relished the rasp of its tongue, hot and rough, on her sensitive skin.

Criminal record for London shopper who mistook an avocado for loose onions
SELF-scanning dodge of the day: the man who classed all his shopping as “loose onions” at the self-service checkout in Sainsbury’s.
City recruitment consultant Nicholas Long, 25, classed his food as “loose onions” 20 times in the space of just three months.
His ruse might have worked had a security guard not spotted the scam – and that Sainsbury’s doesn’t sell loose onions.
Prosecutor Denise Murrin tells the court:
“It is a straight forward allegation that he went to Sainsbury’s and was seen scanning various items in at the self-service checkout. All items were being scanned as loose onions, but the store does not sell loose onions. It was an inexpensive way of doing his shopping.”
Odd, indeed, that Sainsbury’s has a code for loose onions but no loose onions.
Angus Mathieson, representing Long, says:
“It was a stupid thing he has done”, he said. “He was not getting a stupid amount, not substituting champagne or anything like that, but just getting an avocado and claiming it was an onion. He had got a good job at the time, but committed an offence as he felt his job was under threat and he was imminently likely to be made redundant. His girlfriend had become pregnant and he was worried about money, because in addition he had debts.”
The man who mistook an onion for an avocado is either the title of a follow up to Oliver Sachs’ book, The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat, or the title of a new TV cooking show in which hapless men get taught in the basics.
Long was sentenced to 180-hours community service, to be completed within a year, and ordered to pay £250 costs.

Step-father and adult step-daughter arrested for incest have never been to Motherwell
IS is legal to have sex with your step-father? We mean consensual adult sex, not abuse.
Authorities in Nicholas County, West Virginia, say that it isn’t. They’ve charged a step-father and his step-daughter with incest. The suspects are not related by blood. They are both above the age of consent. And it’s not quite as creepy as you might suppose: Mr Kelcey Nicholas (above) is 28; Lataura Jarrett, his stepdaughter, is 21. Kelcey has been married to Lataura’s mother for five years.
Police know the pair were sleeping together. They saw them together when they went to arrest Nicholas on another matter at his home. Lataura lives with her husband elsewhere. She moved out at age 16.
