Romanian gang rob speeding lorry (video)

TO Romania, where the country’s Department for Organised Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) have recorded villains trying to steal a speeding lorry.

The gang have been captured. Blessedly, they will not be relocating to the UK, where raiding a moving lorry on the M25 is virtually impossible, such is the nose-tail traffic.

Stranger shoots ‘Kindness of America’ book writer in Montana’

TO Montana, where West Virginia man Raymond Dolin, 39, has been shot by a stranger. Mr Dolin is travelling around America researching his book on The Kindness of America.

Dolin is now researching the insides of Glasgow’s Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital.

Tim Janus is the World Burping Champion – tips and video

TIM Janus has won the inaugural World Burping Championships. His path to burping gold was littered with big plastic bottles of Mountain Dew, Diet Coke but, oddly, no kebab from Al Baba’s place on the Edgware Road chased down by a extra portion of pickled chilis and lager.

Janus has tips for aspiring burpologists:

“I was just trying to condense all the air in my stomach and bring it to the surface. You just have to force every last bit of air up. It’s beautiful, really.”

And Jacques Cousteau agrees.

Exam cheat had 35ft long crib sheet wrapped around body

READY for your exams? One student in Kazakhstan prepared by creating a 35ft long crib sheet which he wore about his body.

The list featured 25,000 potential answers.

Education authority spokesman Bolatzhan Uskenbayev tells media:

“If he’d put half as much effort into studying as he did into cheating he would have sailed through the exam with a distinction. It’s a pity too see all that work come to nothing but he cheated, and that’s not allowed.”

Penguins have sex with dead females and ‘children’

DURING Robert Falcon Scott’s British Antarctic Expedition 1910-1913, aka the Terra Nova expedition, team surgeon George Murray Levick studied the Adélie penguin at Cape Adare that he observed young male Adélie penguins having sex with dead female penguins. He also noted male penguins having sex with other males, gang-bangs, and sometimes birds murdering and sexually molesting chicks.

Working meth lab busted in Walmart store

IS WALMART offering enterprising types the chance to open a store inside its stores? Until recently, a store inside a Walmart in South St. Louis County, Missouri, was producing drugs in what police called an “active methamphetamine production laboratory”.

One news report tells us the “lab” involved a female shoplifting suspect making “meth in the loss prevention office.”

Good to see she’s not wasting her time. American was built of hard yakka and chutzpah.

Dead woman’s fat sets crematorium on fire

WHEN a large women was cremated in Graz, Austria, her fat blocked an air filter causing the entire venue to burn to the ground.

The woman, who weighed, 440-pounds, overheated the crematorium’s filter system.

Former Graz city fire chief Otto Widetschek says that crematoria need to be adapted to melt the fat:

“In Switzerland, there is now a special crematorium for XXL-bodies.”

Handless refugee tosses volleyball rock through KFC window

TO Albuquerque, where handless Koffi Mbairamadji has been arrested for allegedly throwing a large rock – “volleyball-sized” –  through the window of a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant. (Why the hell isn’t this man representing the US in the Paralympic Games?)

Koffi Mbairamadji says he’s innocent. He says police have got the wrong man. The real villain is called Adjabo, a political refugee who hails from Burundi who has taken his identity.

Dog-strangler mocks police with offensive tattoo

TO Trinity, Texas, where officer Woody Wallace has arrested Jonathan Thompson for fighting. This is not the first time Wallace has met Thompson. Back in March, the copper pinched Thompson for burglary.

So. Thompson is off to jail for making “terroristic” threats. Thompson had been choking his stepfather’s while vowing, “You’re next.” Wallace adds: “And he said he was going to become a serial killer and kill everyone who made him mad.”

Woman who stole bank robbers getaway car relives moment

TO Houston, Texas, where Blanca is caught up in armed bank robbery. She runs from the bank. She jumps into the nearest car she can find. The engine is running. She drives off. That car is the robbers’ getaway car. Says Blanca:

“I was just thinking, ‘Just get out now and just duck, ‘cause they are going to shoot you. And it was just going through my mind – ‘my children, my children.’ I went the other way like this and I just ran, and I kind of just ducked down and I pushed the first door and I threw a lady out of the way.”

“The first car I saw, I jumped in.”

Noisy masturbator too loud for neighbours

TO Malmö, Sweden, where people are upset by the noisy masturbator. Says one neighbour:

“He moans louder than an animal … I can feel how it affects my state of mind.”

Nicolas Strömbäck of the Skåne County Administrative’s legal division is unmoved:

“This sort of thing needs to be solved among the residents. It has to be very disruptive for us as a public authority to get involved and decide how someone should behave in their own home… We need evidence.”

Drugs and pills tumble from lady’s otter’s pocket in jail – video

POLICE cell video of the day features Andrea Amanatides, 38, having a condom malfunction. At the police station, the condom inserted inside her “otter’s pocket” splits. A collection of drugs spills forth –  256 prescription pills — 90 pills of Lyrica, 37 Adderall pills, 50 Valiums, 43 Trazadones, 10 Ambiens, 26 Oxycontins and four bags of heroin. (Put that to a Christmas tune and you’ve cgot a counter-cultyure hit.)
She then does her best to oh-so-casually pick up the pills and reinsert them.

Man changes name to Tim Pppppppppprice to annoy cold callers

TIM Price was so bored with cold callers he changed his name to Tim Pppppppppprice. He tells This Is Leicestershire:

“It’s pronounced Tim Per-per-per-per-per-per-per-per-per-per-rice. I like it. I did it to put them off, all these people who keep calling me trying to sell me things I don’t want. I must be on some kind of list. God knows how – I’m ex-directory. Anyway, my theory is that when these salesmen see my name on their list of names to call, they’ll think: ‘Blow that – I can’t even pronounce his name, so I won’t call him’.”

He adds:

“I hope the name acts as fly repellant to those people – and it attracts funny people with a good sense of humour.”

JESUS has appeared on a bathroom wall in Splendora, Texas. Says Jesus acceptor Chynna Richards:

 “People say your house is blessed. I see the head, the hair, a cloak.” 

What was Jesus without his cloak, or cape , as Religionists call it?

Man throws own intestines at police

WAYNE Carter, 43, stabbed himself about 50 times with a 12-inch blade and tossed his intestines at police in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Lt. Timothy Lloyd tells the Cliffview Pilot:

“They tried to talk him down, but they were having no luck. He was slashing at them with the knife.”

Car crash victim died from poisoned airbag

RONALD Smith, 59, died in a road traffic accident. The crash did not kill him. The airbag in his Vauxhall Insignia did. The crash caused a window to break. The glass punctured the airbag. Mr Smith breathed in the airbag’s fumes and died.

At South Tyneside Coroner Terence Carney, his widow, June Smith, says:

“I knew from the very beginning that it was the airbag. I just knew. It’s just not fair that you have to lose someone because of something that is meant to save a life.”

Pakistan wedding dancers sentenced to death

FOUR men and two women have been sentenced to death for dancing at a wedding. Dads and uncles forced to dance at such events can now point to the news from Pakistan and say, “Best not.”
The six dancers were filmed dancing together at a wedding in northern Pakistan. The local tribal council have ruled that the men ar guilty of “staining the honour” of their families. Men and women must remain separate at weddings. It is law.

Boy has live fish removed from lung

ANIL Barela, 12, of Khargone district, Indina, was playing with friends when he swallowed a live fish.

The Times of India say the tasty treat was “routine”. What was less usual was for the fish to slide into Anil’s windpipe and on into his left lung.

Anil began to feel unwell. He was raced to hospital.

Bruschi is the Boston terrier with the biggest eyes in the world

YOU are looking at the dog with the biggest dog eyes in the world. Bruschi is the 4-year-old Boston terrier whose eyes each measure 28 millimeters in diameter. Bruschi’s owner, Victoria Reed, is delighted that so much in-breeding has made her pooch a star:
“I honestly feel like he would be really happy about it. Some people do make fun of him for his looks, but I feel like he would go up to them and say: ‘Haha, look where I am now, I’ve got a record for my looks!’”
He’s got prizes for being ugly.

Skydiver dies celebrating new parachute training company with parachute jump

ROBERT Ranieri III, 29, has ded in a sky diving accident over Lake Tahoe in California. Ranieri’s last dive was incident as a celebration of his new business – teaching people how to operate parachutes.

Payment must be made in full before Module 1.
