Dunking And Swinging Babies With Lena Fokina And Igor Borisovich Charkovsky
RUSSIAN baby yoga is all the rage. The video of Lena Fokina whirling Ukrainian baby Platona Goryun about her body was unusual.
Fokina teaches the skill in Dahab, Egypt. Her yoga is called “extreme developmental gymnastics“. And if you parents aren’t doing it then your children are going to be left behind.
Nathan Thornburgh interviewed Lena. She’s 50:
Um, what exactly are “extreme developmental gymnastics”?

Man arrested with 19-inch TV and brake fluid down pants
MUG Shot of The Day features the face of Columbia Heights man Eric King Lee, who was caught with a 19-inch television in his trousers.
A police officer noted that King was walking “straight-legged, shuffling his feet, and not bending his knees.”

Kent headmaster kidnapped at gunpoint – schoolchildren don’t shoot
AS part of a creative writing course, Clive Close, headmaster of Wincheap Primary School in Canterbury, Kent, kidnapped school site manager Phil Reid at gunpoint.
A class for nine and ten year olds was interrupted by Mr Close driving an Audi into the school car park. He screeched to a halt. Children went to the classroom windows. They saw man in a red wig and white jump suit (Mr Close) pull a gun (a tap) on Mr Reid. The victim was bundled into the car. The car was driven off.
Says Mr Close:
‘The kids wrote some fantastic stuff on the back of it and what they had witnessed.”

Ice sculpture thieves see evidence melt in police storeroom
TO Salem, Massachusetts, where.Psychologist William B. Hare, 47, and Rajendra Srivastava are charged with stealing the head of an ice sculpture. Police seized the icy head of a dragon and placed it inside the station’s freezer.
When officer Nancy O’Donnell was inspecting the fridge, she discovered the head had GONE!
Salem Police Lt. Andre Ouellette has a theory:
“The head of the dragon has melted away.”

Katie Price is not a pre-op transsexual from Lincolnshire, says judge
KATIE Price is not a pre-op transsexual from Lincolnshire, says a judge at Lincoln Crown Court.
Kerry Marshall, formerly Tyler Meadows, used details stolen from Katie Price, aka Jordan, to withdraw money from the former glamour model’s bank account.
Marshall has been handed a two years’ supervision order and an infinite restraining order.

Dead Chinese ‘ghost bride’ elopes from grave with second dead husband
IN Hebie province, China, a gang has been caught trying to sell a dead girl named Miss Wu for marriage. They’d already succeeded once, marrying the girl to a dead groom who, according to ghost marriage traditions, needed a wife to enter the afterlife.
The girls parents sold their dead daughter to Mr Liu. He thought the young lovely a match for his recently dead brother. So he paid £3,500 and arranged for a “minghun” ceremony, in which the happy couple are buried together.

Goblin baboons attack girls in Zimbabwe
THERE are Goblins at St Sebastian Secondary School in Matabeleland South, Zimbabwe. The Goblins are not in class to learn, rather they are intruders terrorising the student body.
Local official Patrick Dube, bears witness:
“As a ministry when we hear issues we investigate. We went to the school on Thursday to investigate and we are yet to establish what is really happening at the school.”
The Goblins start out as very short people before turning into baboons.

Wheelchair bandit gets trapped in sand
MUG shot of the day features John Christopher Champion, 22, of Chiefland, who raided a convenience store.
Champion is wheelchair bound. He was captured because having left the store his wheels became caught in a patch of sand outside the doors.
When police found Champion, he was in possession of his stolen goods: a 12-pack of beer and a roll of electrical tape.

Australian medic said woman gave birth to ‘family of haemorrhoids’
THE New South Wales Medical Tribunal has reviewed the evidence and found that Czech-trained obstetrician Roman Hasil is fit to practise medicine. Sure, he had drink-driving offences, scarfed a six-pack of beer in a hospital car park, allegedly called a patient a slut and reportedly told another “you have just given birth to a family of haemorrhoids“.

DON kept his amputated foot and made series of low-budget YouTube videos with it. Doubtless inspired by Oscar-winning My Left Foot, Don’s Right Foot is a story of one man who wants to show off his severed foot. What it lacks in plot, acting, script and drama, it more than compensates up for in toes and Don’s competitive streak that began with him collecting a belly button fluff and ended up with body parts….

Dog ‘adopts’ wild boars
HEAR the one about the French bulldog that “adopted a newborn litter of six German wild boars”?
It’s the kind of joined-up Franco-German harmony we’ve gotten used to. One days the pigdogs will rule Europe (again). But the best bit about this story is the word “adopts”. Did the dog fill in forms, and undergo credit and criminal checks?
The eight-year-old dog, called Baby, lives as a pet at the Lehnitz animal sanctuary in Brandenburg. She pricked up her ears when the six little pigs were brought in – she has previously adopted kittens, rabbits and even a raccoon, sanctuary worker Norbert Damm told The Local.

Woman wears 252 pairs of knickers on one go
GOOD news for shoplifters and anyone seeking to get bigger backside but unsure about injecting cement. Seattle woman Janine Keblish has pulled on 252 pairs of knickers in one go. He bum is now big, bouncing and, given the time it talke to pull the knickers off, super absorbant of gases and liquids.
As well as looking on-trend, Keblish runs Days for Girls, a charity that seeks better feminine hygiene products for young women.

Whitney Houston tribute candle sets fire to house
AS a tribute to Whitney Houston, an Oldham woman and her won lit a candle at their semi-detached house in Hodge Clough Road, Sholver. Sadly, the candle set fire to the living room.
Says Rick Taylor from Oldham fire station to the MEN:
“The blaze quickly spread from the curtains to the TV and electrics…The candle had not been completely extinguished when the residents went to bed.”

Drinkers were forced to flee for their lives when a drug-fuelled maniac burst into their pub and lunged at them with a chainsaw just minutes after he was thrown out for smoking.

Half-human half-sheep creature born in Nigeria – photo
TO Sokoto city, Nigeria, where a sheep havs given birth to a half-human monster. Medics at Fakon Idi Veterinary Clinic have called in the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NCDSC) to fight back the crowds wanting to see the creature.
Some say the sheep’s owner must be investigated – probed – and executed.
Says Garba Aminu, a commercial motorcycle rider, and thus an expert in such matters:
“This is an abomination in our land. To see a sheep give birth to a half human being is a mystery and that shows how terrible some people are. It is unimaginable that some people will be having intercourse with animals.”

Farter arrested for toilet paper bomb scare
“He was in the restroom doodling on some toilet paper and I am going to just let modesty go and tell you we are from the country, and so he calls passing gas, bombs. So, he was doodling on the toilet paper and put I passed a bomb in the library, talking about passing gas and somebody come in and found it, give it to the teacher that recognized his hand writing and it blow all out of proportion.”

Mermaid hold up Zimbabwe water project
THERE are mermaids in Zimbabwe. The country’s Water Resources Minister Sam Sipepa Nkomo says mermaids are holding up projects in Mutare, Manicaland, and Gokwe in the Midlands. Nkomo says mermaids live in water reservoirs in Gokwe and Mutare. The workers are afeared.
But the people need fresh water?
Nkomo said the government is prepared to give the population the water it needs, but is unable to do so until the rituals are performed to facilitate the necessary repairs can be carried out. He said he tried to hire white personnel to do the work at Osborne dam, supposedly because they had not been exposed to the mermaids reports, but they too refused to undertake the project alleging they had seen suspicious creatures.
