Policeman Says Ghsots Stored Stolen Goods In His Basement: Scoobie Do Where Are You?
FORMER Mount Gilead police officer Joseph Hughes says he was unaware of the haul of stolen items in the basement of his home in Morrow County. Hughes says such items as the 12 air conditioners were placed there by a ghost. As he tells the court:
“It’s going to sound kind of ridiculous, but we believed that there was some kind of paranormal presence in the basement. It sounds kind of ridiculous but there was evidence to support it.”

Man Sues ‘Liz Jones’ For Stealing His Sperm And Having Twins
JOE Pressil, 36, says his ex-lover stole his sperm and took it to Houston’s Advanced Fertility Center of Texas, where three months after their split she became pregnant. The woman- whose name we are not told but we might refer to as ‘Liz Jones‘ – had twin boys.
He only learned of the alleged caper when a receipt from the clinic listing him as the “patient” landed in his letter box.
The mother then sued him for child support. She won. Blood tests proved Pressil was the babies’ father.

Derby Student Danielle Morgan Gets Trapped In Clothes Horse
DANIELLE Morgan,18, has learnt a powerful lesson. The University of Derby student had been “mucking about” with laundry devices when she became trapped in a clothes horse at her halls of residence.
Whilst in the room of one Lisa Smith, also 18, Morgan fell off the bed, and the clothes horse fell on top of her.
She remained captured by the drier for more than an hour.

Mayor Jose Benitez Says Peru’s Water Turns You Gay
TO Peru, where José Benítez, mayor of Huarmey, says the local water can turn you gay. This explains the gay fish.
Benitez says there’s a high level of strontium in the tap water. He says the calcium-like stuff reduces male hormones. And in is fevered mind, less male hormones means more gayness.
Pink News reports that the water comes from Tabalosos, “a town which a Lima-based television station famously said in 2000 was inhabited by 14,000 exclusively-gay men”.

Tao Jiayuan Has A Large Leech Living In His Windpipe
MEDICS at a Nan’an Division of Yibin No. 2 Hospital, in Yibin City in southwest China’s Sichuan province have removed a 4-inch long leech from 16-year-old Tao Jiayuan’s windpipe.
He had been feeling a little hoarse.
That’s just one theory. His father, Tao Chuanhua, offers another:
“He must have drunk stream water when working in the field.”

Crocodiles Get Free Vajazzle At Darwin Spa: Photos
OVER the web comes news of Louanne Grasmeder, of Darwin, Australia’s, Parap Day Spa in Darwin, who has given a crocodile a bikini wax, an exfoliation and pedicure. Says she:
“Breeding season is just around the corner – and we want her to look her best. In the wet season, the male crocodiles are fighting it out over breeding sites and female crocodiles will be extremely territorial.”

Shandong Bobby Guards Grave Of Dead Owner: Will Mourn For Buns
WHEN Lao Pan died aged 68 at Panjiatun village near Qingdao city, Shandong Province, China, his yellow dog sat by his grave. For seven days, the dog stayed put. Locals took pity. They gave it buns. They took it back to the village. But each time the dog returned to the grave.

Woman Chews Off Man’s Scrotum: Palm Wine Tappers On High Alert
TO Ghana, where Akosua Serwaa Bonsu , 31, has been arrested for chomping off the scrotum of one Kwadwo Owusu, 55, causing his testicles to fall out. At Bekwai Circuit Court, she will answer charges of causing bodily harm and aggravated assault.
Detective Sergeant Stephen Ofori says Mr. Owusu was returning from a funeral when he was attacked. Bonsu “emerged from nowhere and engaged Kwadwo Owusu in a quarrel, during which she decided to chomp off his testicles“:
Akosua Serwaa Bonsu claimed her victim, a palm wine tapper, had poked his nose into her affairs by intervening in a brawl between her and another unnamed lady in the early hours of the day. Woman Dumps Lover To Date Her Father’s Goblin

Oneal Ron Morris Has A Bum To Die For: Cement-Injecting Buttock ‘Doctor’s’ Incredible Photos
SIR Mix A Lot would like 30-year-old Oneal Ron Morris, the woman arrested by Miami Gardens, Florida police for allegedly injecting women with a blend of mineral oil, super glue (instead of stitches) and…cement. One of the women died. Morris has been charged with practicing medicine without a license and causing bodily harm.
In February, 20-year-old British student Claudia Aderotimi, from London, died following a cosmetic buttocks injection administered in a Philadelphia hotel room. This victim is someone else. The police have not yet said who.
As for Morris… Well, we’ve seen the pictures of her, and so can you. Is that a mink coat in her knickers, or are you shagging a paving slab?

Mary Sagoe, 65, Catches Robber By His Testicles
TO Ghana, where 65-year-old Ghanaian Mary Sagoe has apprehended burglar Daniel Richard Ikechukwu by grabbing hold of his testicles. She held on until police arrived. One other robber, known as Lucky, escaped.
When police searched Ikechukwu, they found on his person: 15 live cartridges, a dagger, and a lady’s bag and belt.
The caper went something like this: the men, both Nigerian, pounced on Sophia Sagoe, who has been parked her Kia Sportage at her mother’s home. When Ms Sagoe went to pick her car which she had parked in front of the house, the villains pounced. At the point of a gun, Ms Sagoe surrendered her car keys.

Girl Weeps Stones: Blind Barbie Looks On Blankly
WHEN Kura Nitya, seven, cries, stones come out of her left eye. Nitya, of Cherlaboothkur in Karimnagar, produces between 12 to 25 stones a day. Sadly, they are not precious stones, rather worthless ones.
Her grandfather says:
“Initially we though it was some divine power and prayed to God for this phenomenon to stop. But, it did not stop even then. Initially we were unaware of what the object popping out was since it was smaller in size, but later, we realized they were stones.”

Chandra Wisnu Is The Bubble Man: Can He Save His Children?
CHANDRA Wisnu, 57, is known as “The Bubble Man”. The father of three rarely leaves his home in Indonesia. If he does he wear s a disguise – three jackets, a balaclava and sunglasses. Says he:
“People are afraid, they are frightened of my horrible face and worried they might catch the disease. So instead I avoid people, I rarely go out except to pick up my daughter from school. And when I do I cover my head and my face because I don’t want my daughter’s friends to bully her for having ‘the dad with the horrible face’.”
Mr Wisnu fist noticed the bubbles when he was 19. At 32, he was covered in them. He told of his wife to “leave and never return”. She stayed. She says:
“I refused. Seeing him carry on with his life in spite of his changing appearance was to me a sign of great strength, not weakness.”

Photos Of The Day: The Adolf Hitler Tomato
HEINZ Zielke, 77, variety of tomatoes looks like Adolf Hitler. Says Heinz, who now lives in Cambridge:
“I picked a number of tomatoes and put them on the kitchen window sill to ripen. When I moved them to the fridge, I noticed the tomato seemed to have two eyes and a mouth. I thought it looked like an alien with a big head. People have since said it looks like Hitler, but I’m not so sure.”

Is The Taxkorgan Town School Run The World’s Most Dangerous?
THE school run for children living in the Pamir mountains is tricky. The Taxkorgan Town boarding school 120 miles form their home in Pili, a village on the border with China,Tajikistan and Afghanistan. The students, between six and 17 years-old, live in Pili, are faced with mountains,a 600ft-long zip-line, a path cut into a steep slope 1,000 feet above the valley floor, rivers and rocks.
Says Su Qin, the head teacher:
“There is only one way to get to the village, and you have to climb up in the mountains. The village is completely cut off. The roads only take you further away.”
The teachers make the journey with the pupils. Four times a year, before and after the summer and winter terms, the group make the two day trip.

Marta Yegorovnam Kept An Alien In Her Fridge For Two Years: Photos And Video
WHEN in 2009 Marta Yegorovnam found a 40-50-inch long life form amid the burning wreckage of a crashed UFO beside her summer house in the Russian city of Petrozavodsk, she acted.
Yegorovnam took hold of the alien and wrapped it in plastic. She then placed in it the fridge. She did this because it was hot. As anyone knows, placing hot things in the fridge raises the ambient temperature and may cause your chilled produce to spoil. She kept her alein meat in the fridge for two years. And it never spoilt. It never went off. Aliens might be stupid enough to fly millions of miles and then crash into a haystack, but they know more about preserving their skin than Cher, Simon Cowell and Joan Rivers could dare hope.

Man Grows Finger From His Stomach: Photo
TO China, where furniture worker Wang Yongjun, 20, can now scratch his tummy without taking off his clothes and his hand placed behind his back. Wang, of Liaoyang, Liaoning Province, cut off his middel finger by accident.
Says Dr Huang Xuesong:
“We had to make a quick decision or he could have lost his finger. We decided to cultivate a new fingertip on his stomach.”

Sugar Plum Fairy Sacked For Swearing During Drugs Test
LAURA Coppinger will not be playing the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy in St. Charles, Missouri’s Main Street Christmas Traditions celebration. She lost her plum job for swearing as she “accidentally” flushed the toilet just before a routine drugs test. (What performance -enhancing drugs does an amateur fairy take – eggnog?)
The Christmas Traditions Code of Conduct states “Christmas characters don’t know naughty words“.
As the unemployed Sugar Plum Fairy tells it:
“Out of pure frustration with myself, I said a curse word. I made a mistake and I know I made a mistake and I’m willing to apologize for it. I wish they would just be a little more reasonable. I would love for them to say you know what we made a big mistake we love you and we actually would love to have you back this year for Sugar Plum Fairy. In a perfect world I would have my job.”

Drug Dealer Gives Oral Sex To Associate In Back Of Police Car
THE court calls Tina Marie Arie,of Porter, Texas, who after arrest gave oral sex to her co-accused in the back of the police car.
The Houston Press reports:
The story began when a constable found a drunk male passed out inside a Whataburger. One Howard Keith Windham, 30, was sat at the table inside trying to wake his mate from a “pill-induced stupor“. Tina Marie Arie, 44, looked on. The cop goes through the zonked man’s pockets, allegedly finding lots of drugs (Soma and hydrocodone pills). He spots Windham dropping a Soma pill. He has another in his pocket. Arie admits that she gave the unconscious man some of her pills.

Man’s Gallstones Diagnosed As Pains From Past Hysterectomy
KIWI dad Les Kennington was told by medics that his acute stomach pains were the result of a past hysterectomy. Sure, he’s a man but his medical report says he has a hysterectomy. The report cannot be wrong. It’s in the system.
Says Les:
“A few years ago I did have an operation to correct a hernia, but it’s concerning they could not tell the difference between a hernia and a hysterectomy, nor could they tell the difference between a male and a female.”
And because it’s on file, Les – and can that unisex name be blamed in part? – the file cannot be altered:
The District Health Boards said it was a Radiologist College requirement that all imaging reports that had amendments made to them did not override any previous information contained in a report, and that the original report remained on the patient’s file for future reference.
