The One-Eyed Albino Shark Is Real

THE one-eyed albino ‘cyclops’ shark her found by fisherman Enrique Lucero León off the coast of Mexico is not a hoax. The good news is that you can believe what a Mexican fishermen tells you. The less good news is that the seas are full of one-eyed sharks, crocodiles with tentacles and dragons.

Although Felipe Galván-Magaña, of the Interdisciplinary Center of Marine Sciences in La Paz, Mexico says a one-eyed shark is “extremely rare“:

Fire Crew Cut Durham Man Free From Toilet Seat

TO Tudhoe, County Durham, where the fire brigade is freeing a 26-year-old man from a toilet seat. The man and his freinds, who had been drinking, wanted to see what things they could fit over their heads.  So. He put a toilet seat over his head and it became stuck about his torso.

After two hours to stugglign to free himself, the emergency services were called. The reasons of efficint and comedy value, the brigade invited the man to pop along to the station.

Says one of the crew, manager Michael Burden:

“The man rang us first to see if we could help and he came with his girlfriend and a friend. He looked rather flushed when he arrived but relieved when we managed to get the toilet seat off him. He had been drinking and had been playing a game to see what items could fit over his head.  He managed to do just that with the toilet seat, but it got stuck around his body. He was a bit worse for wear, but we used our cutting equipment to get it off. After his release he was so pleased he gave one of our firemen a big kiss. He took the loo seat home with him as a memento.”

Man Makes Chomping Pacman Costume!

WITH Halloween imminent, you may be thinking of making your own costume. This writer once made himself a living cress-head to look like some kind of genetic disaster.

While forever pleased with that, that’s not a patch on this giganto chomping Pacman outfit.

For Sale: Cat That Survived Gas Chamber And Morgue

ANDREA the cat is looking for a new home having twice survived a Utah animal shelter’s attempts to euthanize her. Andrea has twice survived a gas chamber.

After the chamber was run once, Andrea was found still alive. The employee closed the chamber and ran the gas again before then put her in a bag and placed in a cooler where they are stored until they can be properly disposed of. When some employees came back 45 minutes later to put a dog they had just euthanized into the same cooler, they got a bit of a surprise.

“They heard a meow, and they looked at each other and they heard the meow again, louder, tore open the bag, there was Andrea, looking at them terrified, wide eyed and very much still alive,” said Janita .Coombs, a worker at the Community Animal Welfare Society.

Three Women Rapists Harvested Victims’ Sperm

TO Zimbabwe, where police have arrested three women in their 20s – Rosemary Chakwizira, 24, Sophie Nhokwara, 26, and her sister, Netsai Nhokwara, 24 – for a string of 17 sex attacks. Police, allegedly, found 33 condoms believed to contain the essence of male hitchhikers in the women’s car. At a court in Harare, prosecutor Michael Reza alludes to the 17 men assaulted in 2010 or 2011.

Says a police official in Harare:

“Since Monday, 17 men came and positively identified the women as having raped them. Most of the men said the women would offer a drink either laced with something to tranquilize them or were forced at gunpoint.”

Good Samaritan Returns Lost Bag After Stealing Camera

THE good soul who returned Jeremy and Sally Weaving’s lost bags kept their camera as a “reward”.

The couple had lost their bag at Bournemouth Airport. In it were the Weavings’ passports, a driving licence, some cash and a Panasonic Lumix camera.

Mrs Weaving explains:

“You can imagine our surprise when a large parcel arrived at our house. I thought ‘hooray – good people really do exist’ – but things weren’t that simple. The passports, driving licence and money were all there but the camera wasn’t. In its place were the memory stick and a letter from the finder.”

Satan Arrested In Washington

SATAN has been arrested in Marysville, Washington.

Police wer called when Satan rang the doorbell of a man’s house. The homeowner answered. Satan said he wanted to speak with the man’s wife. The man asked Satan to leave. Satan then went to the front window and exposed himself to the man and his wife.

When police arrives, Satan was inside the homeowner’s vehicle, a truck.

Escaped Criminal Breaks Agrement To Surrender For Chips

LEIGH Francis is cornered. The fugitive has scaled a 40ft pylon. He is drinking beer. Police, three fire engine crews, ambulance staff and gawpers look on. Francis says he will only come down if they give him some chips. If they do not comply with his demands he may well jump.

Grant, 34, of Cannock, Staffs, has escaped from custody. The known drug dealer on the run, having illegally ripped off his electronic tag. If he jumps the mess will be a beaurocratic nightmare (surely tragic loss of life? -ed).

Brother And Sister Filmed Having Sex At Motherwell Station Escape Jail

NEWS Update: Richard Finlayson, 21, and his younger sister Kirsty, 18, last spotted having sex in the toilets at Motherwell train station have escaped a jail sentence.

At Hamilton Sheriff Court, Richard, a former soldier, was put on a probation order for two years and told to abide by the terms of the Sex Offenders Act for the same period. Kirsty, aged 17 at the time of the offence, is on a probation order for one year and will receive counselling regarding mental health, substance abuse and employment issues.

Says he in the Sun:

“I’ve been made out to be a monster and have had to deal with people calling me a prostitute. It’s changed my life forever. I wish I could turn back time.”

26-Year-Old Woman Turns 70 ‘Overnight’

NGUYEN Thi Phuong is 26. But the Vietnamese woman looks much older. AsiaOne says he looks 70. (Joan Collins may beg to differ.)

Her appearance changed following an allergic reaction to seafood in 2008. Her skin to flare and itch. To help, Nguyen’s husband bought her some medication. It failed.

A medic then prescribed her pills for dermatitis. The pills made her face swell and hives breaks out. She stopped taking them.

She then bought some Chinese herbs that made her gain weight and failed to improve her skin.

She then topped taking everything and put her suffering down to fate.

Porn Gang Kidnap Saddam Hussein Lookalike For Sex Video Work

MOHAMED Bishr looks a bit like Saddam Hussein did. Granted, he’s an Egyptian and his accent would need work, but a career as an impersonator is his for the taking…as his he because an Iraqi gang kidnapped Bishr with the intention of making him a porn star.

Bishr was in an Alexandria cafe when when three men wearing black suits attempted to force him into the back of a van.

Says he to Ahram’s Arabic portal:

“The three men, who had guns hanging from their belts, forced me out of my car and shoved me into a van, hitting my head.”

Motorcyclist Breaks Speed Limit Without His Bike

TO Switzerland, where a 38-year-old motorcyclist has been caught speeding without a motorbike, having slid passed the speed camera at 66mph.

The incident occurred on October 2, 2011, beetween Cibourg and La Chaux-de-fonds, close to Bern and the French border. Anorak sympathises with the driver: the only way to enter Switzelrand is while being chased by less neutral Nazis; the only way to leave is either in a wooden box or, as we now know, by the seat of your pants.

Did Harry Hill Fan Knife Husband In Row Over TV?

AT the Old Bailey, we see Leonora Sinclair, 50, of Enfield, north London. It is alleged that when her husband Lloyd, 73, preferred to watch the football to Harry Hill’s TV Burp, she stapped him in the leg causing him to bleed to death. Sinclair may well be Mr Hill’s Numer One fan.

Pc Gillian Bills tells the court that Mrs Sinclair had told him that the injuries had been sustained by a broken glass:

“We had an argument about what to watch on TV. He wanted to watch football and I wanted to watch Harry Hill. He got annoyed and smashed the glass on the floor in the hallway and left the house for approximately 20 minutes.”

Bank Robber Handwriting Fail: Teller Can’t Read Demand Note

THOMAS J. Love, 40, intedend to rob the WSFS bank in the Crossroads Shopping Center on New Castle Avenue  Delaware. His expected the bank clerk to react to his note inked on a deposit slip by handing over cash.

But the worker could not read the message. They apologised and handed it back to Love, asking that he rewrite it.

Man Asks Police To Return His Dropped Marijuana

TIME for a modern manners challenge. Who’s right?

Miles Bennet says the bag of marijuana police officer Dwayne Ausbrooks has found on the tarmac outside a Pittsburgh shop is his. Bennett says he accidentally dropped the weed.

Bennett asks for his drugs back:

“Nah, nah, nah that’s not even cool you can say what you want but, I’m going to tell you. I thought you were going to be cool though.”

Ausbrooks replies:

“Be cool about it? Sir, when I walk up here I find marijuana on the ground and you say ‘excuse me sir like that’s my marijuana.”

Bennett: “I thought you can’t get in trouble for that little bit.”

Ausbrooks: “You thought I wouldn’t get in trouble if I gave you back some marijuana Well not you, when no one was here till you called everybody.  Of course I called, I have a duty and responsibility to uphold the law.”

Bennett: “I understand that I’m not mad at you I’m just saying.”

Ausbrooks: “Well yeah I hope you’re not mad at me.”

See how weed makes you talkative, and polite.

The upshot is that Ausbrooks confiscated the weed and did not arrest Bennett, who we can deduce is partial to a toke. Was he right?

Police Arrest Mullets For Amish Hair Crimes (Photos To Cherish)

Mug Shot: Popeye Arrested For Fatal Shooting

POPEYE has been arrested in Minnesota. Popeye, going under the name of 81-year-old Delbert Huber, claims he shot and killed someone in Burbank Township.

Police found Huber and his son Timothy Huber with the body of 43-year-old Timothy Larson,who they knew.

Shark Infested Golf Course

WHEN you were a kid, did you ever make a bit of pocket money by collecting errant balls on the local golf course?

Sadly this is not an option for the kids that live near a course in Australia because, oddly, it’s shark-infested. That’s right. Sharks. Sharks that like biting boats in half.

It’s not usual for a course to have a water hazard, but boy howdy, it seems a bit much to ask a player to fetch their stray shot out of a pond that might bight them.
