Wayne Rooney Predicts: Cheryl Cole To Win
WAYNE Rooney is the Sun’s Mr Ben, getting dresses up whenever wife Coleen wants to tell us a secret about his once private life.
Today Wayne is wearing a turban, rings on his fingers and a look of wonder.
Wayne is a gypsy, or a gippo, as Sun readers may label him. The graphic wizardry is to illustrate the story that Wayne has successfully predicted the last two winners of ITV’s X Factor.
This year Wayne, who can see everything coming – apart from movement in Dannii Minogue’s face, an Emile Heskey goal or his wife setting him up to look a pillock – thinks Alexandra Burke will win the show.
Prescient stuff from Rooney, and because of his insight, and the facts that Burke is the only one on the show who can carry a tune and is being mentored by the ubiquitous Cheryl Cole, he is in line for a hat trick of wins.
It’s not Burke the show’s producers are promoting, its Cheryl, who despite her lack of presence has been pre-selected by the celebrity making machine to be this year’s big winner.
With any luck next year she’ll be on Strictly Come Dancing. But Wayne already knows that…
