Britain Funds Icelandic Terrorism

ICELANDERS are not terrorists.

Are they freedom fighters? Is so, Gordon Brown might see fit to give them some money.

Says the enemy:

Gordon Brown unjustifiably used the anti-terrorism act against the people of Iceland, for his own short-term political gain. This has turned a grave situation into a national disaster, affecting families in both Iceland and the United Kingdom. Help us avert greater damage by signing this petition now.

Brown employed anti-terrorism powers to freeze an estimated £4 billion of British financial assets in Landsbanki, Icesave’s parent bank.

And in response the Icelanders have mounted a campaign

Mr. Brown would never have reacted to the collapse of a bank from a larger and more powerful nation by tarnishing its people as terrorists and criminals.

Is this the best road to a peaceful collaboration into solving this huge financial crisis? I believe other countries might have answered with war. After saying this about war, i have to confess i am glad we are a tiny nation without an army, peaceful, hard working people, with the main occupation of fishing before the crazy bankers and investors came along. Now it seems we are going back to the fish factories.

Fish can mean war.

But things are improving. You see, Icelanders might be terrorists, but Gordon Brown does not think they are all bad: Britain is to loan Iceland £3bn to repay savers.

It now comes to pass that Britain is supporting terrorists. And isn’t funding terrorism illegal?
